“I found my stay very satisfactory. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was nice and quiet due to the fairly new windows that managed to block out the noise from the street. It was a bit tricky to find my way there directly by car since I drove alone with only Google to support me. ”

“Grant Rooms is a hidden gem! VERY clean and efficient. The bedroom and private bathroom were great. The shared kitchen looked nice, but I did not use it. The rooms are extremely conveniently located to local places to eat, explore, and enjoy. The city walls are a few minutes walk away, as was the Peace Bridge. I felt very safe and would use them again. ”

“The hotel was a surprise. We had booked a quite expensive hotel, Adelphi in Portrush. When we saw the hotel from the outside, as well the entrance to the reception, our conclusion was that we had booked wrong hotel! But! We got a wonderful room, with comfortable beds. Yes, everything was perfect. Internet 16 Mbit down and 3 up. Then we visited the restaurant. The dishes were wonderful, really tasty. An outstanding chef! “We arrived early and were welcomed with open arms. We were treated like family (the side you actually like)! Dianne and Kieran were the best hosts possible. They helped with bus schedules for local sightseeing, and pointed us towards the great places to eat. Breakfast was most excellent. The walks along the beach, inspiring! Truly a bit of a hidden gem and the highlight of our stay in Nothern Ireland. It as nice to scratch and give pets to Brinkley and Rocco as we were missing our dog!”

“The guy who owns the property is a character, and he clearly loves the history of the house. However, the rooms are in disrepair—open electrical sockets! Stuff is everywhere. The place still needs a lot of work. It smells throughout the house of cigar or pipe smoke. The B&B itself could be amazing but it needs professional management!”

“This Derry location was near to many restaurants and sites. Street parking was easy and not an issue for our stay. Traffic noise was a bit loud in the morning but not at bed time. Washer/dryer were the key reasons for our stay at the property as this was the middle of our trip. W/D worker well for us. ”
