En privat liten hem i Oregon Wine Country / SW Portland

Våren är här och vi kan inte tänka på ett bättre sätt att njuta av det, än med en vän och en flaska lokalt vin på din egen privata däck! Solstolar? Kontrollera! Vilda djur och växter? Kontrollera! Beläget inom en kort bilresa till Portland, och flera fantastiska vingårdar; Om du väljer att utforska, blir du inte besviken. Om du hellre vill stanna, har vårt avskilda 148 kvm småhus alla bekvämligheter i större boende, inklusive bekväm parkering, spel, böcker, en ät i köket och en ultra-comfy "nest" säng.

Inbäddat i en lugn skog, i slutet av en grus uppfart, garanteras fullständig integritet.

Hela hemmet och däck är din att njuta av! På morgonen kan du njuta av kaffe på vårt däck, under dagen kan du turera de lokala vingårdarna och antikaffärer. Och på kvällen, titta på stjärnorna från vårt bekväma utomhusutrymme.

Det finns två alternativ för incheckning: 1) Jag kan tillhandahålla ytterdörrskoden och ha en detaljerad kopia och online-länk för vår hjälpsamma hushandbok tillgänglig eller 2) Om du föredrar en personkontroll och orientering (småhus och torra spoltoaletter är ganska unika och kräver ofta lite instruktioner) fråga bara!

Vänligen, var god, läs den hjälpsamma hushandboken. Småhus är unika och din komfort kommer att förbättras väldigt om du känner till funktionerna. Till exempel behöver gästerna endast använda schampo, balsam, tvål, städare och hårtork.

De mänskliga grannarna är vänliga, men njut av den integritet som landets liv säkerställer. De många djurgrannarna är furiga eller fjädrade, och några är tillvägagångssätt. men de flesta är ganska blyg. (rådjur, tvättbjörn, vaktel, ekorrar, skunk, etc ...)

Regler och krav - Vänligen följ 10mph hastighetsgräns på uppfart - Alla gäster måste komma överens om att läsa instruktioner för användning och användning av torrflöde (aka "kompostering") eller cedar loo toalett - Inga öppna flam ljus eller utomhus vedeldade av någon sort. Alla gäster måste vara förhandsgodkända. Husdjur ägare måste godkänna sällskapsdjur politik (skickas under bokningsbekräftelse.) Foto och / eller ID krävs.

Observera: Skogen som omger vårt lilla hus är hem för lammuggar, vaktlar, bobcat, pungar, coyoter, hjortar, tvättbjörnar, skunkar, möss, ekorrar, giftig ek, bin, buggar och många andra potentiella skogsrisker och varelser. Tät övervakning av dina barn och att hålla dina husdjur i ett leashåll hjälper dig att undvika oavsiktliga och eventuellt olyckliga möten.

I need a Vacation after this Vacation

Worst travel experience ever, the owners is completely dishonest and just plain cruel. Really my biggest problem to start with the stay was the bed sagged in the middle and after 3 nights I could not even walk.I had booked a week but just could not stay any longer and when I asked the property owner for a refund due to this, it all went down hill from there.She completely refused any refund stating bed preference is a very personal thing. I travel a lot and don't have any back problems, the bed was just horrible to sleep on.She never even asked if I was ok or showed any concern, instead she took my request as a war and decided to completely lie to keep my security deposit.the pictures look very peaceful but there are 6 tiny homes, a rented garage conversion and the owners property on a pretty tiny piece of land so there is no privacy. On top of this, the owner is always creeping around watching everything.In my texting with her, she quickly told me that all her family and friends love staying there and this is when I realized that the exceptional reviews are from people she knows renting it.

Such a wonderful place to stay ...beauitful, quiet and tranquil...the tiny home is cute and has everything you will need and more! This is such a fun and great idea ...a little village of Tiny homes and all close to a restorative creek....I will be back again ...loved this place!

Tiny house adventure!

Staying in a tiny home wasn’t on the top of our bucket list, however it’s something you have to experience ! First time for us and our furry friends and it was fun. Not camping, not a hotel, not a fancy Bnb, but something in between. Our stay was mostly for business and the Wifi / Internet was good. The area is beautiful and rich. The address is a little village with several hobbit homes and wild bunnies! Lady of the manor , Michelle is a hoot as well. Gotta try it!!!!

Such a fun stay!

This was the perfect place for us to stay while we were fishing! The host was clear in her communication, very accommodating, & responded quickly. We will be back & would highly Recommend any of the tiny houses!

Nice Quite Get Away

Perfect little spot for a relaxed cup of coffee in the morning before heading out for near by family events (i.e. weddings) or spending the day wine tasting. We always love staying in a unique place with a story and this fit the bill for this trip!

Excellent, sweet and comfortable Tiny House

We really enjoyed our visit here. The property manager/owner was very accessible, helpful and answered all our questions. The manual is very helpful and outlines how to make this an enjoyable stay. Bed was super comfy, good shower with a warm strong spray. Lots of storage, hooks and places to out things. Cedar toilet never smelled and the cedar chips work well. We cooked a lovely breakfast on the propane stove and we learned to keep the door and windows open so we did not accidentally set off the smoke alarm. The area is very quiet and we saw a family of quail, chipmunks, robins and a squirrel during our stay. Our home was lit up at night so we could look at the night sky and relax. We enjoyed our stay.

Tiny yellow home in the woods

Our stay at My Tiny Perch was awesome. The home may not be for everyone, but for us it fit the bill. A separate house of 148 sq. ft. was more relaxing than saying in a motel. Experiencing a cedar shaving toilet was a first, but think of the water we saved! We plan to return in the future and experience other units in the tiny village. The forested Sherwood location allowed to visit and travel all around the southern Portland area.

Great get away

Wonderful getaway and beautiful scenery! Only recommendation is dusting the bedroom. We both had experienced some allergies reactions that might be from dust. Other than that, we both really enjoyed this Vrbo on our vacation to Oregon :)

Cozy and Peaceful

Peaceful Hamlet

My Tiny Perch was the perfect clean, serene and picturesque get away while visiting my daughter in Portland. The short drive out of town gave me a taste of the foothills and forests of Oregon while helping her set up her apartment for the school year. The tiny house is clean and calm and a true delight. If you have any concerns about traveling during Covid, My Tiny House Village is the perfect spot with your own space and lots of open air. Michelle is the kindest host. I am refreshed and will be back.

Tiny Perch for grand adventures!

Great placed to stay for a trip to the Sherwood/Lake Oswego area or even staging a day trip to the coast! Perfect for what I needed and will be coming back. Tiny home, but a big place in my heart

This was a wonderful stay in a lovely location among trees, nature, and peacefulness. Michelle, the hostess, was also the most attentive and helpful. There were many things to do within short distances (including wineries, breweries, nature hikes, artisan coffee shops, tea rooms), and almost not enough to experience them all. Portland is also only a close 20mi away. The tiny home itself was quite a nice experience, nestled near trees and agriculture. The are not too many neighbors and very quiet, so it's a really great place to relax. The tiny home makes it more cozy, and it has the essentials you need to be comfortable. I would be happy to stay again!

Comfortable and cute

Michelle's tiny home is indeed small, but darling. The colorful curtains and furnishings are very cute. The dry flush toilet sounded intimidating at first, but was actually very easy to use with the detailed (and funny) instructions. The bed is a little awkward to get in and out of given it's position at the end of the tiny house, but still quite comfortable. Cute spot!

Charming Tiny House

My husband and I had the lovely pleasure of staying in this "Tiny Perch" for one night. This was our first experience staying in a tiny house and it was wonderful. MJ was a great host, she maintained great communication leading up to our stay. Her "Tiny Perch" was wonderfully decorated, bed was super comfy and it was well stocked with essentials. Nothing went unnoticed, we appreciated the snacks and drinks that were placed for us upon arrival. It might be small in size, but has great functionality. We spent 10 days there and loved it!

If you've never experienced a tiny house, this should be the one. It is so well built and designed. You will be amazed at all the amenities tucked away in this small space. You can cook a full meal, play games, watch movies, read a book from the in-house library, and sleep comfortably. MJ is the perfect hostess, and even has some surprises tucked away for you to discover. The setting in the woods is so quiet. We did enjoy the deer and variety of birds. However, it is also conveniently located between two towns with lots of restaurants, shopping, and wineries. Staying in this tiny house checked off a great new experience from our "bucket list"!
