“I wasn't going to leave a review, but I keep getting emails requesting a review. I left a note and a cash tip.We've stayed down the road, so thiught we'd try a new cabin. On a good note, it's a good location, and had everything we needed ( except a pan). The inside was cozy and clean. The price was good. Communication was easy enough. I'm not sure why the outside was neglected. I saw in the journal that we weren't the first people to stay this spring. The trash was 2/3 full out back, and...

“We wanted a weekend getaway around Patoka Lake. Cardinal Cabin was the perfect choice, the area is beautiful. There’s a lot to do around the area and French Lick is only a small drive away. The cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub and overall, just relaxing in the cabin. Would definitely rent this cabin again!”

“Read reviews and did not see any comments about a train that is literally feet behind the house. VERY LOUD. I did enjoy all the graffiti. Like a traveling art show. The kitchen could have been cleaner. My husband left it cleaner than when we arrived. If there wasn’t the train we would have loved our stay ”
