The property was peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained with gravel and easy to identify trails—just what we needed to relax and reconnect. The quiet setting by the lake was incredibly calming. It was such a lovely experience, and we’re already talking about coming back with our kids. “My husband and I chose to stay at Valley View last year in order to be close to Cambridge to attend the Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival. “If you like a more secluded area, this house is GREAT! Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock, sitting on the porch that overlooked the pond, sitting in the hot tub near the pond, and playing games supplied by the homeowner. They really thought of everything! The owners were very easy to reach through text. We had a small issue the one night with the water, and he fixed it immediately. The wooded area that surrounded the house was beautiful. We saw deer and even a coyote one evening. ...

“The cabins are really great; clean, convenient, comfortable! We were apprehensive at first to share a community fire pit and have close neighbors, but we met some great people and surprised ourselves with how much we enjoyed the experience. The hosts are fantastic; helpful, communicative, eager to please. I would absolutely recommend a stay here, and will likely stay again ourselves in the future! Thank you, hosts! ”

“My son (5) and I had an absolutely lovely stay!! The A-frame cabin was quite clean and comfortable! We were able to fit so much in one weekend due to the location, and amenities provided. Shower house/rec house was regularly cleaned as well! Greatly appreciated the friendliness all around, and if you forget anything, the Laseside general store will have it! Reasonably priced too! Beyond a doubt worth it, simply for the view of the lake from your cabin porch! We definitely had a blast, and will...
