Hotell nära Los Rápidos de Bacalar

“A unique stay in Bacalar, definitely worth it. Away from the town, nestled in the serene jungle without distractions and crystal clear water down at the lagoon. We took a tour from Bacalar itself on a sailboat, however nice it was we’d probably choose to just stay at the hotel next time - the grounds really are that beautiful. Good to know that wifi is a bit unstable (we hade some issues when trying to pay our taxidriver). ”

“Good”

“Wonderful, calm setting on the lake Bacalar.”

“We were so surpised When we saw our room! So clean. The Only thing bad with the room was that it Had no window to outside just a window to the hall. But it was chilly and clean. Good service from the reception, the couldnt spela so good english, however WE sorted things out by spanish an hand gestures. Close walking distance to the lake were you can hire kayaks. Small town so close to ”main” road maybe 5-10 minutes of walking. The internet was poor, but Thats what it is in southern Mexico, hehe....

“Me and my love had the most amazing stay at Puerta Del Cielo, the staff was incredibly service minded and tended to all of our needs. The food was simply amazing and we really just wanted to try it all. The price for the hotel and food was nothing compared to what you received. Everything about this place was outstanding and I cannot recommend it enough!! Simply the best expletive both me and my love has had in a while. Please go there and be generous with your tip! ”

“Asana glamping has a nice spot close to the lagoon. Free availability to kayaks were very appreciated. A big downside for us was that the heavily trafficked road that was located near by was a big inconvenience during nighttime, since the tents for obvious reasons wasn’t filtering any noise away. This made it very hard to sleep, despite earplugs. ”

“I have stayed at Poza Clara Sanctuary several times, and it is the best small hotel in Bacalar. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast is delicious, substantial, with plenty of options. The garden and pool area is beautiful and relaxing. It is in walking distance to the lagoon and center of town. I highly recommend this charming little sanctuary, and I will certainly return.”
