“Nos alojamos en el Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá y fue una experiencia muy agradable.
La atmósfera del hotel es acogedora y elegante, con una hermosa combinación de encanto histórico y confort moderno. El personal fue muy amable y servicial desde el primer momento, y nos hizo sentir bienvenidos durante toda la estancia.
Tuvimos un problema con la habitación y, al mencionarlo al personal, actuaron de manera rápida y profesional. Nos ofrecieron cambiar de habitación sin ningún inconveniente....

(Specifically, I am referring to the night staff, which consists of a young woman and a young man.) That said, if service is not your primary concern, I would still recommend this place. “Our stay at DozzZe Madrid Río was enjoyable.
Pros: the place is close to public transportation with a bus stop at 1mn of the building bringing you directly to the Royal Palace and Plaza de España and a metro station at a 10mn walk. There is a big park with free parking at lot 200m - be careful because green parking is not free - and several supermarkets at less than 2mn walk.
