The small townhouse complex faces the road but the promenade/beach is just behind 2 min walk (peek of the sea from bedroom windows) Clean, comfortable, roomy bedrooms with wardrobes, end tables. Plenty of towels and 2 nice showers, just pay attention to instructions for water heater if you have a group that may want hot showers different times of day. It is conveniently located next to groceries and across from Thompson’s Pub, and is a two minute walk to the bus stop with a direct line to Galway. This home is located in the beautiful serene countryside with breathtaking views. Our hosts were readily available and very accommodating, helpful with directions and ideas for Ireland adventures. “My goal was to visit Castles and see the countryside!We purposely selected this place for the fact it was kinda in the middle of Ireland, from where we would make day trips. It worked wonderfully! Our other purpose was to be away from Dublin and meet what I guessed would be the true Irish. Very Close by was a fantastic Pub, and restaurant. We stayed a week here. “Property was clean and near to Eyre Square, a 10 min. ride. Could have supplied more towels, one towel per person was given for 3 days. Said it could sleep 8 but only slept 7 comfortably.”

“Our stay in Ballindooley Castle was fabulous, exciting, historical and educational. Highly recommend the castle stay. Barry, our host, was very communicative and available. The castle has all the amenities needed and plenty of space and we enjoyed exploring every room and its history. Cozy and would stay there again. ”
