Centrally located in the heart of Louisville, Jockey on Gray is a newly renovated, perfect destination for your next trip to Louisville.
Whether you plan to stay in or hop around town, Jockey on Gray offers everything you would want in a Louisville home away from home.
The space
LOCATION: This property is located at the meeting point of Louisville's desirable Nulu, Highlands, and Paristown neighborhoods. You can be at any hot spot in the city in a less than a 5 minute Uber ride- including but not limited to the Yum Center, the Convention Center, and the Waterfront. Not to mention Churchill Downs is just a couple miles down the I-65 stretch. All the best food, bourbon, and shopping in the city is super close to the Jockey on Gray.

HOUSE: The home itself is the perfect spot to entertain a group or single family. There's a patio that boasts a new hot tub, fire pit surrounded by chairs, and an outdoor dining set. At night, enjoy the beautiful lighting that surrounds the back patio.

Inside, you will find we spared no expense when it comes to comfort and convenience. Each bedroom is decked out with a Tuft & Needle mattress and white noise machine so our guests can sleep soundly.

The inside entertainment space is large and full of fun things to do, including foosball, darts, and even a photo booth with a ready printer.

If you are hoping to grill out around the house, guests have access to a brand new charbroil grill and large kitchen decked out with all you would need to make a large dinner. A Keurig coffee maker with pods are provided, along with tea.

LAYOUT: The house contains three bedrooms: One king bed, a queen bed, a queen on queen bunk bed, and a full sized (extremely comfy) pull out couch.

SECURITY: We are secured through ADT, and a Ring Doorbell at the front of the home. The house is accessible via your smart phone.

House is great but be VERY careful

The house was exactly as described - we had a blast playing in the game room and enjoying the hot tub / porch. The AC works AMAZING!!! It froze us out the first night, but we figured out the settings for the rest of the week. The stairs to the two upstairs are super steep - husband and I slept in the downstairs queen bed and the kids got the really comfy king size bed upstairs. The down side to the house was.... the noise from the cars is really loud (sound machine was provided in the downstairs room), the homeless/crackheads are regulars to the front yard - We were awoken the first morning by a mostly naked man rummaging through the garbage and then he strewn it all along the front walk. The racoons also frequent the back porch at night - they didn't harm anything, but they did startle us. Communication was awesome with the owner - we ran out of propane after 5 minutes the first night and she had some brought over the next day.

Thunder Over Louisville Visit

This isn't the best part of Louisville but we felt perfectly safe and sound. Home is nicely kept, updated, and on a quiet portion of a street that is relatively secluded and quiet. While there is some traffic and some noise from trains, they weren't a bother nor were they disruptive to our stay. Overall I would rate the property an 8 of 10 and would stay here again. As a Louisville native, this location is perfect for any downtown business or leisure stays and is overall a very nice home in a convenient (while not ritzy) location.
