“This was a great house. We were celebrating my husbands birthday with 3 other couples. The house was PERFECT and beautifully decorated! It was very clean, had a great location and comfortable beds. Each room had a king bed with their own bathrooms. The listing was absolutely accurate and additional amentities made it even better. Excellent communication with the property manager. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“The space was perfect for our group and the location worked well for all of the things we wanted to do around Louisville. The house had everything that we needed - plenty of dishes, towels, paper products, and soaps. Kids enjoyed the swim spa and the large yard. Plenty of seating for meals and the kitchen has some basics like salt, pepper, and cooking oil. Overall a great stay and the hosts were welcoming and responsive.”

“We were just passing through Louisville, but I wish we could have stayed longer! This house was lovely...everything was updated but it still had the historic home charm. Host provided tons of recommendations for food and activities in the area, most all of them within walking distance. If we're ever back, we will definitely stay again!”

“Ten of us enjoyed the privacy and luxury of Stonecote’s accommodations. We spent 7 nights with a fantastic amount of interior space and outdoor seating areas. The kitchen exceeded our needs even though we had such a large group. Our hosts were immediately accessible both for local information and a couple of easily remedied issues. Our best VRBO experience in the last 5 years !”

“This was a really lovely flat in the Old Louisville area. It had a warm, welcoming and comfortable vibe. It was well decorated and equipped with everything needed to make for a nice stay. The host was good about reaching out with helpful info and clear communication. It was a wonderful place to have as our base to explore Louisville!”

“Visited for a short weekend away with a bourbon flavor. It was easy to everywhere we wanted to go and everything in town was just blocks away. The home was at least as good as advertised. The only issue was hot water was a touch of a premium with four adults showering in the morning. Other than that minor inconvenience, perfect!”

“Overall our stay was good. We had 22 girls, ages 8-16), 5 adult chaperones, and an infant stay. There was plenty of beds for everyone, with pillows and linens. The queen bunk beds are very wobbly, would not recommend an adult on the top bunk! Luckily we had kids on all of the top bunks. The kitchen is on the 2nd floor, so lots of stairs to haul groceries. Kitchen was well equipped, and beautiful. Plenty of prep room, and counter space. The 3rd floor space was a nice quiet are to get away from...

“Was a great stay . Home was very clean and comfortable. The little extras were very nice and welcoming. Bit of an odd layout, but wasn’t bad. I would definitely go back.”

“We arrived and when we walked in I was surprised at how big it was compared to what it looked like outside. It was located in an area close to everything we needed. We needed extra blankets and they were quick to help us with that. Everything was perfect. If you are looking for a place to eat go to Chicken King. We went and at first we were skeptical because of the looks, but the food was amazing and the price was outstanding. We fed 5 adults and 2 littles for $40”

“A very nice little cottage, true to pictures posted. Breakfast foods provided, as well as an in-room hot tub which was wonderful after a day spent driving. The place is close to Old Louisville, but out of the way enough for a quiet night's sleep in a very comfy bed.”

“This spot was perfect for a quick Bourbon tour getaway for 4 of us. The property was exactly as shown on VRBO and had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed the hot tub and the huge variety of games. The owner was super responsive to questions and requests. Would definitely stay here again, and will recommend to anyone I know making the trip down to lovely Kentucky.”
