Deer Island is a very unique place on Hilton Head in a pine and palmetto forest where the deer come out to forage in the evening but within easy walking distance to Harbour Town. The house was like being in a treehouse looking out into the forest. Everything in the house was clean and well furnished. A great way to enjoy Hilton Head without being in the typical row of condos.”

Parking was limited on street and we had to park a block away and haul luggage etc. All bedrooms are extra high 16 steps up from the living area. Worst part was cameras pointed at front porch seating area as well as small private back courtyard. It might have been a nice spot to sit and have coffee in the morning and get fresh air but we...

Situated on several private acres near the May River and Old Town, the farm features grazing pastures with horses, miniatures, chickens, and a loafing pot belly pig. It is a working farm so there is always something to observe while drinking morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine on the porch.
