"We stayed here for a weekend fishing trip on Lake Hartwell. The property is adequate but is not as nice as the pictures make it appear. The showers in both bathrooms barely work. One shower in the master bath has a note laying on the sink next to it, saying not to use it because it doesn’t drain. The property has directv, but only 3 channels work. "We truly enjoyed our time here. The weather for late April was beautiful, and we got plenty of sun and lake time. My kids really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks off the dock. There was a beautiful botanical garden walk just a few minutes into town, and we also enjoyed the paved walk to see the dam and the gorgeous sunset views along that walk. We enjoyed the sunrise views from the home, found the kitchen well equipped for cooking our own meals, and plenty of towels and linens for our stay....

"Very nice place to stay. The house was clean, had nice amenities (good Wi-Fi, AC, full kitchen), and was in a great location. I do have to agree with another review that the downstairs futon was unusable as a bed. As far as comfort, we had four adults and that seemed the right size for the house. In my opinion, any more people would have made the house feel too crowded."

"My niece was getting married at a house on the lake so my sister's families and I rented this house to be able to enjoy the wedding weekend. The house was perfect for our 3 families ranging from 7 years old to 50 years old (9 people total, with beds to spare). We were less than a 5 minute pontoon ride to the wedding house which was perfect for rehearsal day and wedding day. Kathy has been extremely responsive from booking and even went above and beyond sharing a personal item to us when we were in need. Cannot say enough GREAT things about the property and the host.
