I am so sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay as much this time. I 100% agree with you on most of your comments. We have had horrible wind and sand storms this year that have taken a toll on the exterior paint, especially that front window that is the first thing you see when you drive up. We already have the paint and everything ready to repair, but have to wait for the wind to die down before we can do it or it will just catch all the dirt and debris. I also agree on the landscaping. We lovingly named it “The Sandlot” because we can’t get anything to grow with the massive shade tree in the back, or where there used to be a circle drive in the front yard. I will definitely work on getting the front porch area spruced up since the flowerbed we had is now hidden by the new ramp we had made for luggage and wheelchairs. We did do a BIG renovation a year ago and put a lot of money into updates. I’m bummed you didn’t like the new floors, painted walls, patio furniture, inside furniture, and master bed mattress and box spring (that were insanely squeaky the first time you stayed), but it is a night and day difference from when you stayed before. I try to leave enough wood for 3-5 fires (depending on burn time), and would have loved to bring more if you had messaged saying you ran out. I also can’t wait for the spring wind to die down so the leaves, dirt, and everything else that gets blown everywhere can be cleared and cleaned up without being blown right back in. We apologize again that you weren’t as happy with your stay this time, but enjoyed having you as a guest again, and would love to have you back any time you are in town.
