The bed and towels were clean and the kitchen was equipped well with a nice big fridge frezzer and working oven coffee machine water urn etc. The attention to detail of cleaning definitely could use improvement. The host was very good about communicating with us and the location is amazing.”

“It was surprising what the cabin did and did not have. It was better than most as far as cookware, kitchen supplies, shower supplies and so forth. It was under supplied in tea towels (for a week of cooking), electrical outlets near mirrors (to style one's hair - no outlet in the bathroom) and no dresser, closet or even a luggage rack in the smallest bedroom. Linens were nice. We enjoyed use of the deck grill, fire pit and hot tub and grilled and cooked daily. It is pet friendly but no gates are...

“Super close to the top of the ski lift, like it only took about 30 seconds to ride my bike from the lift to the driveway. Awesome kitchen. Chalet is a tad dated on decor but it adds some charm. Seems like an actual family’s vacation home and not some conglomerate rental company. Would definitely stay there again, the location is great and it would be a great space to share with a few friends snowboarding or riding mountain bikes for a weekend.”

“Only real location at Bryse where I can find that is true ski in ski out. Saves a lot of time and hassle with taking gear to lift. You can simply jump right into the slope! Dolly is also a great communicator and answered anything I needed right away. Already booked for next year!”

“We stayed here for several nights in early August and loved the entire home. The check-in process went as described and everything was explained well internally, so we knew how to use lights, appliances, etc. without a lot of fuss. “Very nice, large home, and well equipped for our stay. Great neighborhood to walk our dog down to the resort. The only minor suggestions we have are to update a few things that are showing their age, such as the grill and deck furniture. Owners were very responsive whenever we had questions.”

“Decided to take a last minute trip to get the kids out doing Easter break. Great location for Shenandoah Park and luray caverns. Cabin was very warm and inviting cozy love the fireplace kids love the hot tub location on the river very quiet got to see a ton of stars at night.”

“Our family had a great weekend at the Luxury Moose. Based on the photos and information the house was everything we expected. We cooked meals in and had everything we needed. The pots and skillets were of nice quality as well as the appliances. Sitting around the fire pit for hours each day was our favorite family time. The fire pit is very cool and the guys loved making and keeping the fire going. Loved the warm lodge feel! Trip was way to fast, but we definitely will plan to return!”

“The house was in a quiet, beautiful area. It was everything you would need for a weekend get away. The view is spectacular and the house is close enough to Shenandoah National Parks and Skyline Drive that it is only a short drive away. “Nice cabin with good layout and excellent location, close to everything in Luray. The mattresses and pillows were comfy, and the chairs in the basement were a nice touch. My one complaint is the kitchen: there weren’t many items to cook or bake with, and the ones there were older, scratched and rusty. The river was also fairly hard to access—we didn’t end up using the kayaks we brought because we didn’t think we could get them down and back. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!”
