“Loved everything about the place!!! Drive up the mountain was a little scary for the kids and I’m glad we had a 4x4 diesel for the steep roads (gravel and smooth, but more than we were used to). Perfect for our family of 5 and had room for others to bring next time. 4 yr old wanted to live there and not go home. Will absolutely book here again!!!”

“We needed a place close to the hiking trail we were going to do that could sleep our whole group, and this was close. Unfortunately the trails were closed due to wild fires a couple nights before our stay. Because of the late notice, we couldn't cancel our stay. We had to drive an hour and a half the next morning to get to another trail where we camped, but this cabin was large enough to accommodate our church group, we just couldn't enjoy our stay as long as we had hoped. “We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are unparalleled, and the house was exactly as described. We would stay here again. However, I would recommend that the owners upgrade their linens - the sheets on the King beds were too small, and there were no extra blankets for chilly nights. Our minivan made it up the hill, but we didn't realize that the unpaved road was about 2 miles long, so be warned. Definitely worth it for the views and solitude though!”

“I like that the house had everything I needed included hair dryer, condiments, paper towels, bath towels, shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, etc. The location is convenient, just minutes away from Luray Caverns and Walmart. I especially enjoyed the stay there of the view with cows you can see from windows!”
