“We had a great time spending a long holiday weekend here. It was relaxing and peaceful and perfect for what we needed. However I would say the place needs some work and the owner should put some money back into it. The directv barely works and the internet is non existent but we made due without it. Cosmetically it needs some love. If it got some love we’d probably visit frequently however next time we’ll probably look for a more put together place. “Nice cabin with good layout and excellent location, close to everything in Luray. The mattresses and pillows were comfy, and the chairs in the basement were a nice touch. My one complaint is the kitchen: there weren’t many items to cook or bake with, and the ones there were older, scratched and rusty. The river was also fairly hard to access—we didn’t end up using the kayaks we brought because we didn’t think we could get them down and back. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!”
