“We arrived quite late in the day and the hotel was a welcome place to stay. Our room was quite big with plenty of room for 2 people and our luggage. Bathroom was OK and the shower was reasonable. Seemed to be a business hotel as opposed to tourist but was fine with us. The restaurant was very good with good quality and quantity at a reasonable price. Would recommend. ”

“The accommodation is spacious and modern. The single bedroom apartment boasts a table with chairs and plenty of room for eight people--you could have a dinner party! The apartment had a swimming pool shared with one other apartment. I didn't see that advertised so it was a pleasant surprise. There were no power failures during my 10-day stay although Lusaka tends to experience load shedding almost daily. “City lodge is a perfect name; it is in the city so do not expect wildlife! It has I think only 8 rooms and a pool approx. 13 x 5 m with options to sit next to it on wooden couches - there is not one bed for a sunbath. It has a very well equipped bar and a good kitchen with a somewhat limited choice. The cook on call could make more complex tasteful dishes for sure. The receptionist is an extreme friendly young woman that shows your rooms with pride as if she decorated it by herself. Go and rent...
