“Vid ankomst var hotellets parkering helt full. Ett i övrigt bra och smålyxigt hotell. Tyvärr var rummet väldigt litet. Exempelvis fick inte handfatet plats i badrummet, opraktiskt. ”
“This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony.
The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes.
We look forward to another stay in the coming years.

“A small Grand Hotel older style hotel in the centre of Luzern. Liked the parquet floor in the room, the large window facing the lake and the overall ambience. Easy access to public but Luzern centre is just a few minutes walk away. Plenty of variety for breakfast and a very comfy bed.”
“5 star Hotel. Spectacular views everywhere. 5 star dining. Was there 32 years ago, and they have made substantial upgrades. Will definitely return to do some more serious day hikes. Bring your walking poles and hiking footwear, and enjoy a beer on the terrace afterwards with the best views in the world”
“Le rapport qualité-prix n’y est pas. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé (au bord du lac), la chambre était spacieuse avec une excellente literie mais la salle de bain était vieillotte et les terrasses mal entretenues. Il faut payer de nombreux suppléments alors que le prix de base est déjà élevé (lit bébé, parking, eau dans la chambre,…). Le restaurant de l’hôtel n’est pas bon et le petit déjeuné très décevant.”
“The hotel is great in all senses, it's modern and clean, it's stylish and relaxed and it has a nearly perfect location! They have a really good indoor pool and a nice deck outside where you can enjoy the view, sunbath or take a lovely swim in the lake. Their gym is quite decent and with a lovely view as well. They have two types of saunas and a massage pool.
The room felt very modern and had an amazing balcony. There's free parking place and it's close to a bakery and a supermarket. We can...
“We were originally booked in Lucerne, but after a less-than-ideal hotel experience, we made a last-minute switch to Villa Honegg—and it did not disappoint. Perched high on a hill, the staff greeted us with warmth and impeccable service from the moment we arrived. The views were breathtaking, and even our mountainside room felt serene and luxurious.
Amenities: 5 stars.
Food: 5 stars (dinner and breakfast were both exceptional).

"Rummen är ett hotells viktigaste aspekt. Man är där för att sova. Att då ha utanpåliggande, oisolerade varmvattenledningar längs med väggarna är för mig obegripligt. Trots 12 grader utomhus och fönstret öppet hade vi uppemot 30 grader varmt i rummet under natten. Lite som att sova i ett pannrum. Vaknade med yrsel och huvudvärk. Detta i kombination med det höga priset för rummet gör att jag är mycket glad att bara ha bokat för en natt. "
