“We were really impressed especially by the friendliness & attentiveness of the staff. Very welcoming. Room was spacious, well provisioned & comfortable. Glad there was a fan as it was a hot night. We pre-booked for an evening meal & it was excellent 10/10 for taste & cooked to perfection. Enjoyed our breakfast too & both meals were very generous portions. Would definitely recommend - only here for one night but would love to stay longer next time.”

“The Bowens was a wonderful relaxing place to stay. The hosts could not have done anymore to make us feel welcome. The weather was fantastic so we were able to utilise the wonderful surroundings. Breakfast was great, it had everything that you could possibly want, and we were able to eat this in the garden each morning. The location was great, with a shop and 2 pubs in the village. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the Bowens for a relaxing break in this area”

“We stayed in this hotel last night for 1 night. The location is perfect to get to Ross-on-Wye and is located on A road. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. 2 rooms were allocated to us opposite each other which was convenient for a family. Large rooms and bathrooms, very clean with attention to details. Very comfy bed. Food was also very good. My children loved it. Overall great experience. We are planning to go back for a long weekend in September and will definitely stay in...

“It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything. The room we had was amazing it had a rustic style look ”
