âThe stay was good. Check in was good. The only thing Iâve noticed is that there seems to be an issue with the water pressure in the building. While youâre taking a shower, the water pressure can suddenly nose dive and thereâs not a lot of pressure behind it. I hope they can address that. Overall, the stay was good.â
âPerfect hotel for a solo traveller! Very cool style and interesting place - i liked it a lot.
However:
Did not expect the restaurant to be closed. No room service or any opportunity to get water, coffee or similiar stuff at the hotel. I assume that the ongoing renovation (wich also was not communicated, will help) â
âGreat location and vibe, love the interior atmosphere. One of my absolute favorite hotels in terms of style (stayed in NYC and the LA version).
The bathroom washing sinks however were way too small for being able to wash your face and the windows unfortunately too thin letting in cold air.
Reception staff not very service oriented, BUT the staff next to the reception helping out w bags & packages always super helpful and friendly attitude!
My overall impression despite those minor details...
âSpent a long weekend in Manhattan with my wife. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was that we couldnât connect to WiFi from our room but it worked out when we finally got a prompt near the lobby. Nice view from Purple where we ate breakfast and drank cocktails in the evenings. â
âMuch better than anticipated. Clean, relatively large room for New York. Great location for a first stay in the city. We don't care much about sound as we both find it soothening. But it wasn't very loud at all, I was expecting much much more while I was reading a lot of other reviews, the walls are thin though so it could be we just got very quiet neighbours.
The bad things I have to say is that the bed was worn out, I mean shrunk down in the middle and squeeky. No sorting of trash. And also...

âThe hotel was overall very nice and in a great location! Cleaning was very good and the room was confortable. However, we were 4 people in one room and sometimes wouldn't get the right amount of towels, despite pointing it out. We were also sometimes missing schampoo and shower things. Considering us being 4 people, it would have been good if we got more. The room has a kitchen, but there was some necessary kitchen supplies lacking. Overall however, a great stay!â

âWe had the Sky View Room and it didnât disappoint. Great view over Empire State Building and all other skyscrapers around the building. The hotel has a great location, nice vibe and the room was clean. Probably coming back next time in NYC. â
