The Rhône riverbanks and a park are just at the end of Rue des Girondins.

Jean-Macé:
Jean-Macé is a neighborhood in Lyon (69007), bordered by the streets of l’Université, Marc Bloch, Domer, Repos, Chevreul, and Espagne. It is one of the most sought-after areas of the 7th arrondissement. This former industrial area has undergone significant transformation in recent years and is now a lively, warm, and animated neighborhood with many shops, restaurants, cafés, and venues to enjoy. It attracts a young and dynamic population. Jean-Macé Square is a major transportation hub, with metro, tram, bus, and train connections.
Gerland:
Once an industrial area, Gerland has undergone significant transformation. Located along the Berges du Rhône, it is home to the Parc de Gerland, the Matmut Stadium, and the Tony Garnier Hall.
La Guillotière:
Historically, La Guillotière was an independent town before becoming part of Lyon in 1852. This neighborhood has undergone significant change in recent years and is now a vibrant, multicultural area, offering a wide variety of cultural venues, alternative spaces, and places to visit.

The apartment is well-served by metro, bus, bike stations, and is only a 5-minute walk to the banks of the Rhône.
From Perrache Station to the apartment:
Take Metro Line B towards Gare d'Oullins and get off at Place Jean Jaurès. The apartment is a 10-minute walk from there.
From St. Exupéry Airport to the apartment:
Take the Rhône Express to Part-Dieu station, then take Metro Line B towards Gare d'Oullins and get off at Place Jean Jaurès. The apartment is a 10-minute walk from there.
