“Overall the cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Clean; stocked with cooking ware. We use ATT cellular, which was NOT available in the area, but bypassed it with Wi-Fi, which worked well. It’s close to the road, but there’s not much traffic so it was pretty quiet. The river seating area is beautiful but it is close behind the other cabins, so if you prefer more privacy it’s a little awkward. We didn’t meet the owners, but they are right there on the property and seemed like very wonderful...

“I have been searching for the perfect cabin near Denver to “run away” to after a busy summer. I finally found it! Brookside will be my annual escape.
You have provided for my every knee, including extra special touches. I was especially delighted to find the house slippers and chocolate cookies.
My favorite thing is the hammock right beside the river – a dream come true!

“Office check in is only open from 3:00-5:00 pm, however keys and directions were left on the office door as was communicated. Cabin was VERY clean, especially for being somewhat rustic. Clean blankets, sheets, comforter, bathroom, shower curtain and furniture, we were very pleasantly surprised. Very quiet, beautiful location, would definitely recommend and stay again!”

“The cabin was located in a beautiful area and we loved the screened in porch and how close it was to the RMNP entrance. We did end up finding mice droppings in the kitchen and bathroom on our last night there. We ended up staying elsewhere for the night due to concerns about cleanliness since we had our toddler with us. We are still waiting to hear back about a partial refund from the property.”
