âAmazing weekend.Bit awkward to find as we came in from kendal way ..Sat nav tookus throughmiles of one car wide road but its a paradise corner with stream and garden areas.. Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary weekend.Fully recommended..â
âA lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided.
The bed was lovely and comfortable.
People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem.
If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didnât book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. â
âLovely hitel in an udeal location, 5 min walk to Windermere Kake and town center with plenty of shops and eateries.
The spa is ideal after a busy day out to unwind in.
Cosy small double room was also modern and comfy, and a good size.
Complimentary Elemis toiletries in bathroom too.
We ate at the restaurant onsite which was very enjoyable.â

âVery Scottish decorâ for some reason.
Staff were over worked and doing multiple jobs as best as they could and as quickly as they good. Tending bar, taking orders, waiting on tables - just one person! They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything.
