“I was blown away by how nice Table Rock Resort was when we arrived. We stayed in a riverside room and it was much nicer than I imagined based on the pictures online. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with our rental car. The location is aout 15 minutes from downtown San Ignacio but feels very remote. We heard Howler monkeys on most nights and got to see a lot of hummingbirds and a toucan while eating breakfast. The environment is a dream. We were able to get good insights. We were able to learn a lot about the Mayas. We looked directly at the Maya ruins from the accommodation. It has a really good location next to the Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve, which should not be missed. “Great service, they were always nice and helpful. Laundry service quick. Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Good location - basically right on the main street so close to everything. The breakfast was extremely light: bananas, bread to toast and butter/jam and then coffee/tea/water. But they had a microwave that could be used anytime and a refrigerator in the room (much appreciated). I liked my stay and would stay here again if I went back. ”
