“The check in was easy. We appreciated the fenced yard as we had children with us so it made us feel a smidge safer. Easy to get to the best parts of town like the highway and the market. We were there for a short time so we did not get to use the kitchen amenities but we appreciated all the things they had that we could use.”

“If you’re in the area, this is a gem. The pictures don’t do justice for the size and quality of this home. All of the Hosts - online and onsite- are super nice. Highly recommend.”

“The hosts were so kind and thoughtful and their cooking was AMAZING!! The view into the jungle is indescribable and the room was the perfect size.”

“Beautiful property within a community still being built. This is going to be a fantastic development when fully finished. You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). Comfy beds and pillows, cool A/C, lovely pool, beautiful views, all the comforts of home away from home. Stay here, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!!!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree Villa. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient. The home is a 30 minute walk from central San Ignacio, so the neighborhood is quiet but it's still easy to stop by town.”

“Everything was great! We loved staying here, communication with Katia was easy, and Consuelo was a sweetheart. The pool was much larger than the pictures made it look, and we enjoyed swimming in it every day! The grounds were beautiful also, and we felt like we were in an oasis in the middle of the jungle!A few cautions: the road at the end is a bit bumpy and steep. If you go the wrong way it is REALLY steep and 100”

“Check in couldn't have been easier. Terry, the host, was in contact with us while we were there and went the extra mile and gave us complimentary snacks and drinks. We didn't have any issues during our short stay. The pool was a great and relaxing amentity, especially after coming back from a tour in the hot month of August. “Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...

"I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc. The bed was really big and comfortable. Slept like a baby. During a month of travelling this was by far the best sleep we had. The room was quiet and dark as well, and AC provided perfect temperature for once. The room was equipped with a fridge and a freezer, which we loved. It was so convenient. "
