âHotel with a nice location and within 5 minute walk to restaurants and lake front. The room was large, well equipped and had a nice bathroom and a small balcony. Great breakfast buffet with even poached eggs to make your own egg benedict. The hotel felt quite new.â

âLoved staying at Matuka - breakfast was wonderful, the ground were beautiful, location was convenient, and the room was so clean and comfortable. The weather was quite rainy while we stayed there and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to relax and still enjoy a nice view. Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone staying in Twizel!! â

âThe place has a breathtaking view of the airport. We enjoyed it from the afternoon all the way into the staring evening. Mary was very friendly and even let us use the kitchen for dinner and breakfast.
But the coolest part was definitely the three airplanes displayed inside the houseâI took so many photos to show off!â

âBeautiful place. Establishes for canalbuilders in the 60ties and survived. Good room with OK beds. Wifi at extracost, didn't work in the room. Breakfast at extracost although very good. No lakes nearby. All in all god value.â
