“Modern, clean, and accessible to all sorts of northern Michigan adventures. Unexpected pros- beautiful private dock on the lake, very nice hot tub and outdoor shower, full amenities. Unexpected cons - space is private but very close to adjacent properties, highway noise isn't loud but audible, boggy area so it means bugs abound. ”

“We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again. ”

“Cabin in the woods! Seclusion, peace. Simple, uncluttered. The space was relaxing , practical and functional to use with ease, important if youre cooking all your meals. Good spot for our dogs. The house/yard on one side was close enough to see the yard through the trees but otherwise, very secluded. Great location to explore the NW corner of lower Michigan. Great trail into the woods in back. One of us gets ill from perfumes so we had to put the scented trash bags outside and sub our own...

“It is always a pleasure staying at Lakeside. The lake was lovely and we were able to sneak a campfire in between the rain storms. Make sure to read the notes that Ritchie sends your way as it spells out exactly what you need to bring - trash bags, shampoo, etc. On VRBO, the pet fee was not very clear.
