Bring the whole family or large group to this great place in Downtown Macon with lots of room for fun! Southern Valley Homes gives you this Stunning Duplex Built in 1875 get the entire Duplex to yourself- BOTH SIDES!! Would be perfect for Bridal Parties (Can you say Girls on one side, Boys on the other?), Family Reunions, or Business Trips. Right in Downtown Macon directly behind the Macon City Auditorium you can walk to Concerts, Restaurants, Bars, Retail, and experience Macon like a local!

This duplex is located in a quiet pocket w/ dedicated Off Street parking where you can sleep soundly without the noise of downtown while still being right downtown where you can walk to everything- the best of both worlds! Renovated in the early 2000's and updated again in 2022, you will absolutely love the character of this almost 150 year old home but have all the amenities and luxuries of today-granite countertops, tiled showers, stunning original heart of pine floors, 12 foot ceilings, huge windows to let in amazing natural light.
Both sides are nearly identical, just mirror images of each other. Downstairs in each side is a living room with Smart TV, large sleeper sofa and jackknife sofa, dining room with Smart TV, another sleeper sofa, kitchen, laundry and the half bath.
Upstairs of each unit are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has 2 queen sized beds and an ensuite bathroom with walk in closet and make up vanity. The secondary bedroom is a tribute to Mercer University and has another queen size bed, 2 closets and a smart TV.

Such a charming area! We enjoyed walking to take pictures of the historic churches, to the new park across from City Hall and to downtown restaurants. Macon has changed so much since we lived there 25 years ago. This location was perfect for visiting downtown destinations. The VRBO was clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. Will definitely stay here again.

Host interaction was great!Kitchens really needed more basic supplies. And beyond basic would be nice. More cooking utensils and mixing/ serving bowls, etc. Location was good. Quiet street.

Girls Getaway

We planned a getaway and wanted to stay together and not in separate hotel rooms. So glad we chose this house. The property is spacious and the location is great and within walking distance to downtown.

Great Duplex for groups!

We stayed here to attend State FFA Convention. There were 2 teachers and we were able to split our students between the two sides. It was great to have a girls side and boys side.

“Macon” travel easy.
