Högkvalitativt boende, med historia och karaktär. Full av ljusa och öppna utrymmen, belägen mellan Macroom och Coachford i hjärtat av landsbygden. Vår bondgård är den perfekta fristaden, en plats att varva ner med familj och vänner, en lugn och grönskande fristad där tiden står stilla (om du vill). Ta en promenad på en landsgränd och luktar kaprifol, välj en björnbär eller en vild blomma.

Om du tycker om lite sightseeing, ligger vi mindre än en timmes bilresa från många av Cork och Kerrys mest populära turistattraktioner inklusive Killarney, Cork City och Blarney Castle. Det finns mycket att göra i området: vi är tio minuter från Ballyhass Lakes Coachford, National Rowing Center i Farran och Zip It, Farran Wood. Den närliggande floden Lee är mycket populär bland sportfiskare. Gearagh nära Macroom är en otrolig plats - en nedsänkt isskog och naturreservat som har utsetts till ett våtmark av internationell betydelse. Och det är bara tio minuters bilresa härifrån!

Beautiful period property in quiet rural location, 15 minutes drive to shops, pubs & restaurants. Contactless checkin/out. The host, Ger, suggested picking up supplies prior to our arrival which was helpful. We saw him just the one time, when we phoned for him to come by to help with the oven and replace the light bulb upstairs. He was very friendly and invited us to explore the property freely. Our only suggestions would be to improve the lighting in the bedrooms e.g. bed side tables with lamps. Also the family ancestor photographs could be moved into an album so that guests could enjoy them if they chose to. Overall we enjoyed our 4 days at the farmhouse and would recommend it to friends and family.

We used this farmhouse to stay at while exploring the Southwest / Killarney area. It was easy to get to and has a breathtaking view of the Irish countryside. The host make the check-in process very easy, and even provided recommended restaurants in the nearby towns.Perfect stay for travellers in the area in need of two bed/2 baths.

Lovely farmhouse with an amazing view

Lovely historic farmhouse but still updated with all the modern amenities you'd want. The kitchen in particular is in excellent condition and well stocked. Appreciated that there was even breakfast options like cereals out. It is likely obvious, but should be noted it is not walkable to anything and you must have a car to get to a grocery store, restaurant, town, etc. The hosts brought us fresh baked bread, butter and jam one morning, and it is the BEST bread I've ever had in my entire life. My husband and I couldn't stop talking about it and I wish I had the recipe!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in this cute little cottage. It was just a described. Not too far from a great little town. We enjoyed fresh milk and homemade brown bread, butter and jam. Wonderful hosts!

A little piece of peace

Doesn't get better than this!

We were fortunate enough to book 4 nights with Ger and Grett in their amazing farmhouse this past week. Not only was the farmhouse clean and inviting, with just the right mix of traditional and modern convenience, but it sits in a beautiful part of the country. You are close to most big Cork spots and have shopping close by. Old Restored Farmhouse

We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. It's a very thoughtful property. We hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again.

Lovely and Peaceful

We really enjoyed our time -this time of year can be so beautiful - early darkness found us relaxing by the fire in the evenings and up in plenty of time to enjoy beautiful morning light (and sun rising) … the house is so warm and speaks its history - a welcome respite from city and a great base for exploring (although we could easily have enjoyed staying in all day!).
