Host provided now, dry sheets for her but not a dry pillow. The nightly scratching/pecking in the ceilings kept us awake. Rats? “So comfortable and cosy. We stayed in the studio which was clean, had everything you could need and was decorated well. The bed sheets and toiletries smelt amazing. The owners put a lot of care into making sure it was a home from home. They also bought us freshly baked bread and homemade jam, delicious. We loved the poncha bar around the corner, too. Great location, about 10 minutes drive to Porto Moniz and on the route out to the fanal forest”

“A very lovely cottage with beautiful gardens and an amazing view! The road is a bit steep to get to but we managed absolutely fine, if your a nervous driver be aware. The cottage had a few very minor issues but it was gorgeous”
