“What a gem this is! Clean and comfortable is just the beginning. From a well appointed kitchen to thoughtful little things like spare reading glasses, the owners clearly take a lot of pride in hosting. And the cottage is just darn cute!! “Good facilities. Clean and new. Short walk to a beautiful view and beach. Access to beach meant climbing over some logs. The unit could use some tea towels for drying dishes etc as well as a small table beachside.Quiet, private. Good place to stay.”

“This was the perfect house for our girls trip! But it would've been perfect for any getaway or group: Couples, a family with littles, etc. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and stocked. Everything was as described. The hot tub and cold plunge were dreamy, surrounded by tall trees in the middle of the forest. It was very cool to take the long stairway down to the shore. It's such a cool property. We loved the location too! The hosts were very helpful and responsive.”

“One of the most charming places I've ever stayed in. We were greeted with a bowl of eggs from the ducks/chickens at the end of the garden (which we promptly repaid with snacks) and the three small buildings were super clean and incredibly welcoming. There were a few minor bug/dirt related issues with the outside shower but nothing too bad at all. We look forward to coming to stay again!”

Our host was very pleasant and went to the extra effort of leaving a half dozen eggs and a small pitcher of milk on the fridge to get us buy for the first night's stay. Because our stay was longer than most (10 nights), Amanda left extra towels and bed sheets for us.Next time back on the Sunshine Coast we will definitely book our stay at Laurel Cottage in Davis Bay.”
