And when we inquired about the meeting place for a kayak tour we scheduled, front desk staff was rude. They explained the kayak tour was not connected to them even though the meeting place was at their property. They could’ve politely just pointed us in the right direction. “Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!”

“We were in Bayfield for an event and really didn't use much of the amenities at the guest house. The room was clean and working well. The refrigerator/freezer was a nice size for our stay, and was already at a good temperature. I specificially chose the Huron Suite for a view of the lake, which was nice. We were there off season; the neighborhood was quiet. Street parking. The front entryway and stairway had a musty smell, but our room had no unpleasant odor.”
