Mountain Joy Cottage # 10, Big Bear, Àr inrett i ett björt tema. Denna romantiska stuga Àr utrustad med en jacuzzi-badkar.

Ursprungligen var Maggie Setzer, för vilken Maggie Valley heter, det land som Mountain Joy sitter, en speciell plats. Du kommer att bli förtrollad med det berget charm, familjÀr atmosfÀr och karaktÀr. Vi erbjuder alla moderna bekvÀmligheter du kan förvÀnta dig med Äret runt tillgÄng och avskildhet som mycket fÄ kan erbjuda.

Njut av den lugna landsbygden i vÄra stugor. Vi har en, tvÄ och fyra sovrum stugor alla utrustade med vedeldade eldstÀder, kabel-tv, internet och kök redo att laga en hemlagad mÄltid. Utanför verandorna har gungstolar sÄ att du kan njuta av ditt morgonkaffe eller njuta av solnedgÄngen pÄ bergen pÄ kvÀllen. VÄrt glasomslutna utomhuspool (sÀsongsbundet) erbjuder en hÀrlig plats att koppla av.

Mountain Joy Cottages ligger centralt i hjÀrtat av Maggie Valley, bara ett kvarter upp i Setzer Cove Road, med enkel tillgÄng till alla sevÀrdheter i omrÄdet. Vi Àr bara nÄgra minuter frÄn Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway och Great Smoky Mountains National Park. OmrÄdet Àr laddat med hantverk, antikaffÀrer och presentbutiker. Den stora utomhus erbjuder ridning, golf pÄ omrÄdet bergskurser, öringfiske i strömmar, forsrÀnning och natursköna enheter. SnöskidÄkning och slangar Àr tillgÀngliga för hela familjen pÄ Cataloochee Ski Area. Nattlivet innehÄller allt frÄn jazz till bluegrass, igensÀttning eller middagsunderhÄllning. The cabin was cute, its an older cabin but still had charm. There are ELK that wander through the yard and eat apples off of the tree right there in front of you!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

Bed was horrible, sheets stained, floors dirty, air filter dirty, hot tub dirty, and didn’t feel safe with out a deadbolt on the doors.

Great cabin getaway

It was our second time staying here & we very much enjoyed our time. Prior to our trip, we did message the property managers asking questions but never received any answers. The cabin was very clean except for some dirty dishes & cutlery (dried food, etc) that we had to clean ourselves before they could be used. Suggestions would be to upgrade the blinds so that all could be opened (missing parts) & microwave to higher power model. Refrigerator also could be upgraded for a more aesthetically pleasing vibe (it looked like ALOT of mold on the outside of the fridge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope to return in the future!

The cabin was sweet, perfect size for a couple.

the furniture was impossible to get comfortable in, wifi service was poor, there are cracks in the walls to the outside and the fireplace didn’t have a good draw.

The Mountain Cottages

Beautiful place. Enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the porch seeing the pond and ducks. This morning we saw two Elks that came right up to the back porch where we were. Enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back.

Great place and great location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Close to many attractions and restaurants. I personally loved the ducks, they would come visit in the morning and when we got back at the end of the day. We enjoyed feeding them each day.

The stay was all really good except for the Wi-Fi in the property was very weak. It really was an amazing visit to Maggie Valley with the elk standing in the field beside the cabin,Also groundhogs ducks and turkeys everywhere.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin and the area is beautiful. The cabin was clean and tastefully decorated. There were only two metal clothes hangers available in the closet and the three spare bed pillows had no pillowcases. The pillows on the bed need to be replaced. There is no dresser to store clothing. I enjoyed watching the ducks while having coffee in the morning. A cow elk walked past one evening. I hope to return next year.

Don't even have to go out to see Elk

When we arrived on Friday we were greeted by a visiting Elk and daily visited by resident ducks. The place is quiet, cozy and perfect for couples. Only real complaint is the lack of hot water. It started off fine but ran out quick. Couldn't fill the hot tub without running out.

Very Nice property

Nice, relaxing 3 day weekend here. Property is in a nice, secluded but convenient location. Cabin is really nice with all the needed amenities. Can’t forget seeing the elk right in the backyard. Will be back!

Birthday Getaway

We had a lovely anniversary weekend getaway. This property was close enough to many restaurants and shops but in a nice private location. The pond was beautiful to look at. The views were amazing. The decor was cute and well thought out. 5 stars.

Clean and perfect for a weekend get away.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend get away. Cabin was perfect for 2 people. Very clean, well kept. Perfect spot to be away from the road but close enough to get to things quickly and easily.
