  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

A Quick Getaway

We very much enjoyed our time at Moose Haven and were glad to have a comfortable place to stay in between our planned activities. The house was clean and well stocked with the necessary kitchen supplies so that we didn't have to eat out all of the time. It was a lovely and quiet neighborhood where we could relax on the front porch in the morning with our coffee.

Great weekend

We arrived at the property shortly after 1pm and received the checkin email shortly after. I had spoke with the property manager about motorcycle parking. He told me that we should be able to park in the driveway. The driveway was very steep and loose gravel. There's no way that a 900 lb bike could safely get up and park. The cabin looks exactly as the pictures. It was very clean and comfortable. The water for the fridge was turned off so I had to purchase ice and fill the fridge ice bucket. The weather was way better than we expected and had a great time. Maggie Valley is beautiful. The cabin is about in the middle of the town. It was only minutes each way to restaurants. I recommend this cabin, but not for motorcycles.

Merry Christmas

They area appears to be a rental community. With that said it was quiet at night except for a rare barking of dogs. We came to the conclusion this area shuts down Christmas eve and Christmas day. Thank goodness for the casino, party on.

Hot weather escape

property was as posted. The fenced in yard came in handy, especially when my whippet discovered a family chipmunk just outside the fence. She couldn't get to them but they entertained her for hours.

Relaxing home
