Detta är en unik split-nivå stuga med utsikt över staden Maggie Valley, NC. Stugan är två sovrum / två badrum med ett öppet kök och vardagsrum design ..... med en sten spis och flera nivåer, privat däck, med badtunna, på 2 hektar. Detta är det sista huset på en blindväg och ger massor av integritet och en av de bästa bergen i Maggie Valley. Det ligger mittemot Wiens Thru Time Motorcycle Museum och Maggie Valley Fairgrounds. Titta på världen sakta passera på den täckta verandaen eller dubbla nivåen Sky View Deck. Vårt Hawks Nest-läge är centralt för turistbutiker och matställen i den pittoreska staden Maggie Valley. Vi är bara 10 minuter från Blue Ridge Parkway och Smokey Mountain National Park. Om du gillar skidåkning, slang eller snowboard är stugan 15 minuter från Cataloochee Ski Mountain och 45 minuter till en timmes bilresa till andra skidorter. Detta område ger några av de bästa motorcykelturerna, forsränning, rör och vandring i Smokies. Stugan rymmer 4 till 6 personer och är fullt möblerad.
Maggie Valley ligger bara 35 minuter till Asheville och centralt beläget till Dollywood, Gatlinburg och många turistattraktioner. We stayed four weeks at Hawk's Nest!! We've been missing the beautiful view ever since leaving! This was a really great place to stay if you like privacy, cool weather, great views and a cozy place to stay. The kitchen and appliances were very nice. The drive in and out is pretty steep and included a gravel driveway. This is normal for this area and actually the road in was not as bad as some we have stayed at. Still all wheel drive is nice to have even in the summer. Despite being up high in elevation and remote, you can be in town in just a few minutes. Lots of great family owned restaurants in Maggie Valley and Waynesville to visit. We went to the Wheels Through Time museum and it is amazing.The property manager was really great! We had an issue with the internet and they immediately called the provider to get it fixed. They had the speed doubled at the same time. Keep in mind this is a mountain home so internet is not screaming fast, but it worked well for us with only two users.One final note is there are bears around - which is really cool. We had a little bear roaming through one day. He was not a nuisance and ran off as soon as we yelled at him! Still it was great to actually see a bear!

Beautiful mountain getaway!!

Everything was just as described! The pictures were 100% accurate and the views... gorgeous 😍 We did not want to leave and if we could have, we would have extended our stay!! We will definitely be back!! Beautiful!!

Perfect,Cozy, Peaceful Cabin Getaway

Perfect, peaceful location with great views! I was concerned about not having AC being menopausal, however it was surpsingly cool especially for it being June! The hot tub was great with fantastic views! All in all very relaxing! Even with following all of the directions for the coffeemaker it still did not work well for me. Also had some issues with the remotes for the TV and DVD player. But I would definitely choose to stay here again!

amazing view

House is cute and comfortable. View is amazing and our host was terrific. Initial ride up to house was a challenge for Florida people, but afterwards not a problem. We spent a month watching the ever changing views and did not want to leave.

AMAZING VIEW

The property was very nice. It is a very comfortable, clean home with a view to truly die for. Kitchen should be reorganize between renters and good luck figuring out the coffee pot. Hot tub was nice but found it low on water and chemicals. The worst issue is the driveway, beware! It was fine for most of the week but once another group came to stay at another property the road got very torn up. I feel if you are going to run a business the road should be paved to make it safer for renters. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Overall had a great time!

Wonderfully peaceful mountain hideaway

The Hawk's Nest's amazing 5-star view of Maggie Valley is only the beginning of the story. Very comfortable living spaces, a well-appointed kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and a hot tub (with a view!) that was perfect after a long day of hiking in the National Park. Joel was a gracious and very responsive host. The only challenge was driving the steep, winding, sometime gravel road up to the cabin. While our regular car did just fine once we got the hang of it, an all-wheel drive vehicle would have been preferable. All-in-all, a fabulous stay!

Beautiful view of valley

The pictures perfectly represented the property. The view of the valley was breathtaking, we would love to come back and see the fall colors. The house was great for the three of us. We loved the hot tub and using the fireplace each evening. It was very relaxing, it felt like we were by ourselves on the mountainside.

Best Family Vacation Ever!

We took our kids here for our family vacation and it was so much fun! We were close to lots of fun activities, including White water rafting, hiking, shopping, Asheville, restaurants and more! We will definitely be back soon!

Great!!

This place is a gem hidden on a side of the mountain! The place is very nice and confortable. It was clean with the beautiful mountain view. You must follow the directions that they give you as GPS will get you lost. Owners make you feel welcome with small details like a complementary wine and coffee. We'll come back soon!

Nice Cabin with gorgeous views

Very nice cabin, clean and has a beautiful views; it is located in a quiet area. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning watching the town and the mountains and also enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. When we arrived, we couldn’t find the place because we followed the gps, my advice is to put as a final destination “Soco Rd and Dogwood Rd” from there follow carefully the directions you will get from Joel, the owner, he was very kind, helpful and answered all my phone calls. We had a very good time.

Sweet Time in Maggie Valley

Cabin was as shown in pictures. Everything you need is there, just bring your food. Beautiful view of Maggie Valley. Road up to cabin definitely requires your attention. The wet leaves also were a bit of a driving challenge. Aside from that, a great stay.

Great property!

Enjoyed our stay very much! Beautiful property and location. Make sure you don’t have bald tires as you may not be able to get out of the driveway! (We didn’t have any issues - but could easily see that being a concern). Loved it!

1st Anniversary

Amazing. Perfect location with great views. Love the easy to use fireplace. The bed was AWESOME, so soft and comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. Thank you for the Anniversary gift, it brought a tear to our eyes. We love white wine and Biltmore is a special place for us.

Perfect for a romantic getaway.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the Florida heat and enjoy the cool weather and beautiful fall foliage and this property just smashed it!!! We hiked or explored the area and cute town of Waynesville everyday and came "home" to soak in the hot tub(very private), make a fire in the firepit, and relax and read inside by the gas fireplace!! That view, WOW!!!!! My husband, who is a workaholic said it was the most relaxed he has ever been on vacation so thats really saying something!! We mostly cooked dinners in and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Since it was just the two of us we could spread out upstairs and we each had our own bathroom which was very nice. I would definitely recommend this vacation home without hesitation!! The few meals we did eat out were very good but like the rest of the country, some places were a bit understaffed so you just need to expect that things might take a bit longer than usual and be patient. Everyone was very nice and doing the best they could. Would recommend Joey's pancake house and Boojum brewing and the Creekside brewery.

Tranquil Maggie Valley Views

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Eagle's Nest. Porch sitting was a highlight overlooking the stunning changing light of Maggie Valley. House was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Joel was especially prompt to answer questions I had and offered a terrific overview of Area Attractions. The road up to the house is steep but very doable by taking your time. Maggie Valley is a great "hub" location to visit sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway,, Great Smoky Mtn NP and Asheville. Waynesville is close by for further amenities. Thanks for the great intro to this beautiful area!

Wonderful retreat!

What a great place! The view is amazing. The firepit and jacuzzi were evening rituals. Comfortable house with everything you need. The owners were VERY accommodating. They quickly responded and fixed the problem when the toilet handle broke. I highly recommend Hawks Nest!
