“Had a private ”cabin” and it was absolutely amazing, loved staying there. Really cozy environment, great location close to the beach and the bus stop, and you get to see so much wildlife. Bathrooms/showers and the kitchen could use a renovation but works fine. Most of the staff were friendly as well.”

“Fick ett mycket dåligt bemötande när jag anlände på morgonen. När jag fråga vad som fanns och göra på ön. Fick jag ett argt svar att det får jag ta reda på själv, så peka hon på en broschyr. WiFee som jag betala för fungera mycket dåligt. Det finns inget på gång avstånd från Base, utan man måste ta buss. Inget ställe jag rekommenderar utan det är bättre att bo i Horseshoe Bay. Där har du nära till kaféer, restaurang och olika aktiviteter. Base är ett partyställe för ungdomar, de har till och med...

“The hotel was a bit worn out, and in need of repair. Out hotel door did not lock properly as there was something wrong with it. We had a balcony high up in the building with an amazing view. The hotel is close to the ferries to the Maggie Island, but it is quite a walk to the restaurants on the Strand and 30 min walk to the stone pool at the Strand.”

“The room was a good size, modern and clean, with the bed being really comfy. Air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the front desk staff were super friendly and happy to help me get to and from my events. There’s a taxi rank right out the front, and the secure off-street parking was a big plus. Buffet breakfast runs from 6–9 a.m., and there’s also room service if you feel like staying in.”
