Pensionat i Maidenhead

“Very well equipped, everything excellent quality. Food wonderful. All good.”

“Initially, the manager of this guest house was helpful and offered to set up the beds as two singles instead of a double, which was better for us. We had to pay £10 extra to check in 1pm instead of 3pm, but at least that helped with our plans for the day. Unfortunately, during the stay we encountered a number of issues, the most serious being that we appear to have been bitten by bed bugs. Further issues included a strong mouldy smell in the whole accommodation (it was hard to let fresh air in...

“Mycket trevligt ställe med hög mysfaktor. Bra läge och härlig frukost.”

“Worked well, cheapest place by far in the area and room was quite nice. Staff were very friendly”

“Good”

“Nothing stood out as good. I was initially in room 3. There was not even a coat hook. I had nowhere to hang my shirts. There was also no bedside lamp and no lightswitch within reach of the bed. The shower had no bracket so was not self supporting. When I complained about this they did relocate me to Room 2 which had a functioning shower and did have a hanging rail. “Rooms are old and have been lived. A lot of rust, broken furniture, bathrooms need a remodel. Hot water yes, very hot, cold water was hard to get as the shower was stuck on hot, almost burned myself. All in all heavily lived. Shops are close, free parking for up to 3 cars. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer. But again heavily lived. Free WiFi. Beds are not that great. Good for a night or two maximum.”

“Hotellet är så mysigt, och personalen hjälpsam och trevlig. Vi uppskattade verkligen frukosten och den personliga servicen. Vi tyckte dock sängarna var för hårda och hade därför svårt att sova.”

“Had a lovely stay Very helpful staff and room beautifully clean. Very near to shop and not too far from town will stay again happily.”

“All excellent”

“The staff and host were very friendly and helpful. The location is about a 25 minute walk to the metro station. Excellent English breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.”

“Countryside-styled place with ancient, charming environment and friendly atmosphere in all respects. Wonderful breakfast and dinner plus helpful staff made the stay even better. And the room rate was reasonable as well.”
