“What a perfect spot! The room is spacious and comfortably furnished. My husband and I enjoyed the snacks and coffee. Being on a working farm added a fun element without being too noisy. We only heard the goats as we left in the morning. The host communicated in a timely fashion and offered to replenish breakfast. Their directions were detailed and accurate.”

“This is a quaint almost like a boarding house but very VERY far from Acadia. The hour plus drive was torture on really bad roads and locals doing 85 on 45 roads with twists and curves. Really tough at night and coming back from the park. Do not book if you want proximity to Bar Harbor. The breakfast is overpriced and the serving staff overwhelmed. “Carol and Carl thought of everything! The inn was an old Victorian, thoughtfully decorated in Victorian charm. It had two veranda‘s which my husband and I enjoyed sitting on. Our room,the Emerald room, had a separate door that took us right out to the rear veranda where we ate breakfast, had picnic lunches, and beverages at night.
