“It was cozy and squeaky clean! A nice little cabin with about everything you need there. She even had decaf coffee Kuerig which was perfect for me! I'd highly recommend this space. It's quiet and tucked just back off the road.”

“The cabin itself was so charming and comfortable. Communication with Rachael was easy and she responded promptly to my questions and accommodated my requests. She gave me suggestions where to go and where to eat which helped make our trip a great one. The kitchen, though small had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here again if we can.”

“So, what can I say that hasn’t already been highlighted. The property itself is your a typical Maine lake house. It is close to a few amenities like Hannifords and a few restaurants but not too far from Bangor. The interior is completely updated and is stocked as you would expect with top quality rentals. Views are top notch. And Ben our host is and was extremely responsive. This is definitely a place I would recommend If you’re on the hunt for something off the regular market. A+ listing as...

“I stayed here with a bunch of extended family members for our cousin's wedding at the Lucerne Inn. The location couldn't have been more perfect and the property/house was stunning! We had the best stay. Remember to bring shampoo/conditioner/body soap since the house did not have any in any of the bathrooms. Our favorite part was the cozy nook in the living room area and the fire pit outside which the host was kind enough to get started for us. Thank you!!”

“This place was perfect for a long weekend get away with my wife and two adult sons. Location is outstanding, literally step out the door and you are right on the water. House is "campy" as you would expect for this location and well furnished and maintained. Comfortable yard, lots of sun, awesome fire ring, beautiful lake and sunset views, and abundant wildlife to keep you entertained. An otter actually dropped by, twice! Owners are very kind and helpful (veteran owned).”

The views are amazing from this quiet neighborhood and it is so easy to just relax and soak it all in. Do yourself a favor and get up early for the unbeatable sunrise right from the living room and just enjoy every moment like I did.”

“Wonderful cottage with lake view. Was listed as beach front but there was a short walk to the beach. Other then that the only problem was no plunger for the bathroom! We enjoyed our stay on this property.”

“I knew it would be a good place to stay when Lyndsey emailed me a copy of the information book for the Carriage House on Pirates Cove. It has details about shopping and dining for every little town around. It feels like the Carriage House is in a central location, an hour to Acadia and Bar Harbor, an hour to Camden and Wiscasset. Or, you can sit on an Adirondack chair and watch the tides come in and out. The Carriage House was very clean and well appointed, just enough decor to feel like home....

“It was very convenient to stay here when visiting Mooselake area as well as the Baxter State Park. From clean kitchen and complete cooking equipments and spices to a very comfortable bedroom. There was even Reese's and nuts when we got in which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!”

“Always a wonderful stay at this cabin- quiet, comfortable, with the beauty of the lake right outside. Reading and hikes during the day, watching the sunset and maybe a movie at night. The kitchen is simple but always seems to have what I need. This is my 3rd visit and I'll be coming back again!”

“It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.”
