PLATS
Casa di Mare 2 är ett mycket panoramautsikt över Salicerchies strand. Det ligger i den homonyma byn bara några steg från det berömda normandiska tornet Maiori. Fastigheten ligger i berget och placeras bredvid en gammal citronlund, vars arom inebriate Villa gästerna samt badarna medan du njuter av den fantastiska stranden Salicerchie, som ligger bara några steg (endast 150) nedanför och är direkt ansluten till Villa vid en av de typiska stegen i Amalfikusten.
Stranden är utrustad med en strandklubb men ett gratis område är också tillgängligt. Simning från bukten är det möjligt att nå några av de mest spektakulära grottorna i kusten, inklusive den berömda svavel våren grottan, vars välgörande och helande vatten lätt kan dras av besökare.
Hästskogstrukturen i dalen erbjuder ett skådespel som byter stenar och jordbruks terrasser som målar sig orange vid solnedgången, i en förtrollad fred, avskilt från turistklamret i närheten av Maiori. Byn Salicerche ligger bara tio minuters promenad från Maiori och det serveras av en utmärkt buss- och taxistjänst. Villan har också ett avtal med en närliggande parkeringsplats som erbjuder en gratis pendelservice. Spektakulära platser som Amalfi och Positano kan nås från Maiori på mycket kort tid.

BESKRIVNING
Lägenheten, som är lättillgänglig med en karakteristisk stentrappa på bara 15 steg. Konstruktionen skjuter på klippan efter sina krökningar och fogar, den stora centrala balkongen ger dig känslan av att vara suspenderad över havet, rummen följer varandra och ger glimt av en oändlig horisont från ljusfönstren. Huset erbjuder två dubbelrum där det är möjligt att lägga till två enkelsängar mer och en bäddsoffa i stort vardagsrum, två badrum, ett med badkar och den andra med dusch och ett praktiskt centralt kök. Lägenheten erbjuder också en halvtäckad 80 kvm terrass som leder till tillgången på citronhuset. Terrassen är utrustad med ett utekök, ett solarium och en dusch. Lägenheten är idealisk för en semester med vänner men det är också perfekt för att passa behoven hos en familj som vill njuta av drömmen om en sommar i Amalfi. Villan har direkt tillgång till ett område utrustat med en grill och en pizzaugn och skuggas av en rustik pergola; Denna terrass erbjuder också en fantastisk utsikt över stranden, smaragdhavet och landskapet i Cilento-kusten som verkar som en mirage i horisonten.

Loved the location, the house is built into the cliffs with a beach right below. The porches had amazing views! The AC worked well. The beach was gorgeous but I was surprised the locals left a lot of garbage everywhere. Also this place has a major ant problem - they came and sprayed once while we were there and they were back the next day. They were coming in from the walls.

The view and beach access were amazing

There were issues worth mentioning. Before that though know Francesca is wonderful and will take great care of you. The owner as well was great and helped us when needed. So know you are in good hands if you need them. With that, know if you are a family that likes to cook like we do, don't expect much. The kitchen didn't even have a spatula and lacked common items like salt. It does have pots, pans, cups, plates, forks and spoons so you can get by but it's not ideal if you are use to cooking and navigating a well equipped kitchen. It does have two kitchen, so two stoves, two refrigerators, two sinks, etc which came in handy as the stoves are small. One of the stoves doesn't light and the lighter provided was empty so we bought our own. I'm sure if we asked Francesca would have provided one but she helped with so much we didn't want to bother her. The interior isn't much to look at as well. The beds are hard and are thin are pillows thin. So why did we give 5-stars? You are paying for the view and direct access to the beach. The place is large too. While the house itself is thin/narrow, its very long. It's built into the side of the cliff and the backyard is an expansive lemon orchard/garden. My kids loved picking lemons and making fresh lemonade. There are two balconies with sweeping views of cliffs, beach, and ocean and a third garden balcony with great views too. All breathtaking. The beach is 60 sec away and not crowed. So in the end because of this it's a 5-star stay.

Bijzonder huis op prachtige locatie!

Het huis was heel bijzonder, gebouwd tegen een rotswand aan in de lengte, alle verblijven achterelkaar gebouwd, inclusief twee mooie terrassen, met prachtig uitzicht op de (bijna privé)baai. Francesca was heel aardig en ontzettend behulpzaam, super host.

Stay at Maiori

The property is located on the beach and has stunning views from the balcony. Location is the only advantage of this property. During our stay when we were battling temperatures above 90 F, ACs in all our rooms were dysfunctional. The property manager knew about this and as we were checking out the technician arrived to fix the AC. If you thought you would enjoy a relaxing shower at the end of the day, leaky, water clogged bathrooms will help you learn quick. There were no bathroom supplies such as bath soap or hand soap, let alone shampoos or lotions. Although there are two kitchens in this house, they definitely lacked basic amenities such as a working coffee maker or a microwave. We have been booking vacation rental houses for the past 10 years and we have never experienced such inconvenience. I would not recommend this property.

Heavenly Haven

We thoroughly enjoyed this unique, off the beaten track experience. While we agree with the previous reviewers about the quirks and small inconveniences of this property, the location and views are spectacular and unforgettable! Just open the doors, and enjoy the color and sound of the surf while the white curtains blow in the wind while the warm sun pours into the room! We fed and enjoyed the owners very friendly outdoor kitties that roam the property. The short walk into town along the road is stunning. Francesca, the manager, was lovely, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you!

Hidden gem, amazing

This house was amazing. Tucked into a lemon grove it had a beautiful view of the cliffs and a water cove. Easy access to a public beach and swimming cove. 5 minute walk to town. We felt safe and there was plenty of room even with 7 of us. I would recommend this place to anyone. This was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed.

Perfect location!

The MOST beautiful view and sunsets! Loved the patio off the kitchen for relaxing. Short walk to town which is very convenient. You will need to get many items for your stay (extra toilet paper, soap, salt/pepper, paper towels). Bring an extra mirror for other rooms for your convenience if you have more than 4 people. There was an ant problem so don’t leave any food or trash out. Large coffee pot did not work. Overall, wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend! We would return again. Just be prepared with a few things.

Great view & location

Maiori is perfect and the view from the accomodation is amazing. Enough space for eight people, extremely helpful hosts who helped organise deliveries for us. Actual accommodation is a little run down/tired and wasn’t quite clean when we arrived.

A beautiful villa with private beach

The villa was absolutely beautiful, perfectly equipped with everything we needed and the 2 balconies were a treat! A smaller one right off the kitchen for a morning coffee, and the larger balcony which was perfect for outdoor meals together. The location was excellent as well, easy to get around and very close to Amalfi, but not right in the chaos of it all. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxury yet quiet stay in the Amalfi Coast!

Beautiful hillside villa

We enjoyed our five night stay. The location was perfect as a home base to enjoy maiori/minori and to explore the other towns of the coast. The cove and private beach are really special. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Absolute Paradise !!!!

Amazing place to stay ! Absolute perfection !!! We cannot wait to come back and we are going to tell our friends about this place! This property is even better than the pictures and description ! Maiori is such a perfect spot and the private beach we enjoyed thoroughly. Very friendly and easy check in experience and check out too was very easy ! Cannot say enough ... we stayed for few days but would have stayed for longer. All the comforts of home ... air conditioning , beautiful showers ... even outdoor shower with gorgeous views !!! Love

Nice location

The house was in a pretty great location but the setup leaves a few things to be desired. The best way to describe it is it’s like a long rail road car. There’s 2 bedrooms at one end of the house, then you walk thru two kitchens to a common room, then a bedroom, then the terrace. So if you stay at the one end of the house you have to walk through another 2 bedrooms and the common area to get to the terrace. I think it’s a 2 apartment rental which the turned into one space for a larger party. One of the showers is a stand in tub type. The beach below is small and can be crowded, and you pay for chairs and an umbrella. It’s a very steep walk up and down several stairs and there is a lot trash on the stairs and beach. Once at the beach it’s a nice swimming area. Views from the house are pretty amazing, overlooks the water and cove. Maiori is nice, older type tourist town with crowded beaches but we were there in the high season. Lots of choices for food and drink with a nice sidewalk alone the beach. Contact with the agency was super easy and the girl who met us (Francesca) was extremely nice and very helpful. There’s no parking so if you arrive by car keep that in mind but she arranged parking for us which was in town. We had an early departure and the service she sets up (Aldo’s transportation) was right on time. You can walk to town in about 10 minutes but it’s along a busy road so keep that in mind. Overall this is probably better for a group of 6-8 people vice more.

Belle villa très typique de la Côte

Nous avons séjourné dans un petit groupe de 4 adultes et 2 enfants et nous avons tous eu nos espaces pour se reposer. Nous avons adoré l’accessibilité à la plage en quelques marches ( très reposant et peu achalandé ) Nos enfants ont adoré partir à la recherche des poissons et que dire de la vue sur le petite baie ! Nous avons adorés la douche extérieure lors du retour de la plage c’était très pratique ! Merci encore !

Amalfi Coast

The location couldn’t have been more perfect! We did run into some cleaning issues and the mattress in two of the rooms need to be replaced. The porch area needed some attending for cleaning. If cleaning and those other items were fixed it would have been amazing!
