“Great place to get away and totally relax”

“We absolutely loved this condo on a private beach. The condo is very large with multiple balconies and a direct view of the sunset over the gulf. Everything we needed was included and the condo was very clean when we got there. The host was quickly responsive to every e-mail. Our only challenge was locating the correct door for the condo, but once we got in the elevator (yes, there's an elevator!), it was very clear. Highly recommended and we will be staying again. “We booked last minute for a beach getaway on our anniversary. The unit is a little dated but very clean and well kept. It is right on the beach but the unit faces the street. There is a small porch on the side with a beach view. The location is great and only a short walk to Stump Pass Beach State Park. Overall we had a great stay here.”

“My wife and I recently spent 14 days on Manasota key and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was plenty big enough with a large Master Bedroom/Bathroom. There is a second good size bedroom and a small second bathroom. The unit is on the second floor so have to bring your luggage up a flight of stairs We cooked a lot of our meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The appliances look pretty new. “Very nice, convenient to food, very short walk to beach. The main reason I booked this place is because it had a heated pool. I knew the water would still be cold on my chosen dates BUT, the pool was NOT heated. Contacted the host and all he said was no one has said anything to him about it. We spoke to others at the pool and they also complained about the NOT heated pool. Also, no soap and/or shampoo in the room as listed on the amenities, host told us their was a Circle K a few blocks down...

The location was FABULOUS... this condo is only one of four that face the gulf... what a view!!!, the balcony is safe for little ones, there is a small room for a pac n play so that our one year old could sleep peacefully, all the beach gear one would possibly need is provided. “This was my first time using VRBO. Also, it was my first time on Manasota Key. Enjoyed waking up with coffee & a beautiful sunrise over Lemon Bay. The condo was well supplied, comfortable & clean. Thankful for the binoculars to spot dolphin & manatee in the bay. Spectacular sunsets on the beach. The only reason I gave check in four stars instead of five, was because someone erroneously used our parking spot. We were able to resolve the situation without any further incidents. “This is a great place to spend a week of vacation. The condo was clean and already stocked with some of the basic needs (beach and bath towels, sheets, blankets, hand soap, dish soap, TP, laundry soap and dryer sheets, even some books to read and games to play). Easy access to the Gulf, a swimming pool, and on-site laundry facilities (bring some quarters for that). The location is great as you can easily walk on the beach, to four or five restaurants, down to Stump Pass, and even to a boat...

“Original description made it sound like the pool was in close proximity to the unit along with being able to watch the sunrise. Not so. While the walk and crossing the street to get to the pool was not a huge distance, it was further than we wanted to walk. The Gulf was beautiful, the sand was HOT and rough walking on it barefoot. All in all we had a wonderful time. Weather cooperated and we returned home to a 25° temperature difference. We are already talking about next year.”
