“The unit I stayed in, was perfect in every way for me. I needed a time out, for a few days, in a beautiful setting, and my expectations, were met. The location, is perfect, I felt very comfortable, ordering food, or driving to pick something up. Everything, from the beach, shops, food, etc, is nearby. “We loved how close we were to the beach. It was beautiful, so nice. We loved that we weren't near the major public beaches and were more secluded. “The unit was very clean and pictures were accurate. Had some beach supplies which helped chairs etc. only down side was the stairs to the beach I am not sure if a section of the stairs was missing but the bottom few steps were not there making it a 3’ drop into the water. Did not work well for someone who couldn’t jump down or climb up which was our case. We went a short distance to Middle beach which is nice but very crowded for the Memorial Day holiday. We did find an access a little further...

“The location proximity to the beach was perfect. You can see the gulf from your lanai. Owners of other units were very friendly, and the beach was never crowded. The unit was well supplied and had extra blankets/sheets, bath/hand towels and washcloths. We hope to stay again soon.”

“Starfish Stays accommodated my husband and myself comfortably. Couch & tv for him to watch his news and read his paper. Chair outside by door for me to sip coffee. Bed was comfortable! Bathroom was just right. Loved using my phone to lock & unlock door. Easy walk across street to access beach. Appreciated having coffee available to get through our first morning upon arrival! I highly encourage others to consider Starfish Stays at Manasota Key.”

“Great location. Nice place to stay for a getaway. The beach house has everything you need. Plenty of parking, and easy entry. I booked this place last minute, for five nights, and got a quick response from Janet the property manager. She was fantastic, and answered every question I had with ease. “Our stay at starfish stays was exactly what we needed to start summer off. Manasota key is a beautiful community. The accommodations were amazing and just fed the beach vibe we needed. “Original description made it sound like the pool was in close proximity to the unit along with being able to watch the sunrise. Not so. While the walk and crossing the street to get to the pool was not a huge distance, it was further than we wanted to walk. The Gulf was beautiful, the sand was HOT and rough walking on it barefoot. All in all we had a wonderful time. Weather cooperated and we returned home to a 25° temperature difference. We are already talking about next year.”
