Small but mighty and full of modern conveniences, this cabin is the perfect home base to explore Mesa Verde, San Juan National Forest, the LaPlata Mountains, and more! Just a few minutes to downtown Mancos. Experience breathtaking mountain views, star-filled nights, and plenty of wildlife! Come see what wonders Southwest Colorado has for you!

    Beautiful cabin at 7500' in elevation. Stunning views of Mesa Verde, the La Plata Mountains, and beyond. New build with tons of outdoor space, ample parking, and a very cozy interior.

    Cabin is modern and equipped with TV and high speed internet. Beautiful honey colored wood paneling and high ceilings make a small space feel light and airy.

    One bedroom with Queen size bed.
    In living room, sofa can convert to a twin size bed.

    Kitchenette has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, two burner range, mini fridge, and lots of cooking supplies for delicious meals. Full bathroom with stand alone shower, linens, hair dryer, and soaps.

    Gorgeous front porch for hanging out and stargazing.
    One of the quietest places you'll ever sleep and only 5 minutes from the San Juan National Forest and the town of Mancos!

    Property is shared with one other main house, horse barn, and fenced horse pastures. Very quiet, with no other neighbors within half a mile! Also has a 220 outdoor electrical receptacle off of cabin for RV's, and frost free hydrant available for water!

    *No oven or laundry on site.
    Property has not been tested for Radon.

    Main house is occupied year round. There are trees blocking the space between the two living spaces, as well as blinds in the cabin. The opposite side of the cabin as the main house faces open fields, but keep in mind that the main house is only 40 ft away.

    There is a corgi named Napoleon who lives in the main house. Tenants have been asked to supervise him while outside and keep him under voice control.

    We ask that our guests with pets keep their dogs on leash while outside to avoid invading Napoleon's space. The tenants will remain respectful and aware of guests with animals.

Great base to ride bikes, visit Mesa Verde and eat good food. Everything that was needed was supplied. I did find it a little dark so I used my camping lights

Mancos is a convenient 20 min drive from Mesa Verde NP and this cabin was perfect for my husband, me and our dog. We appreciated that it was dog friendly and that he could travel with us from Denver. Well stocked and cozy. The only thing that is not apparent from the VRBO listing that its in someone's backyard, like 20' away from their back patio, so it was a little awkward, but the people in the house were friendly enough that it wasnt a problem because we would get back just to have dinner, showers and then sleep. I would definitely recommend

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and private without being too far from town. Wish the shower was more roomy but other than that it was a lovely stay.

Perfect home base for a week of exploring Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico with it's centralized location to all the amazing historical ruins in the region. Quiet and out of the way enough to a relaxing sit on the porch after a long day of hiking but close enough to "town" so you can sit down for a bite to eat or stop at the grocery store. The next time we come through the area we'll be staying again. Great little cabin to rest your bones in between adventures!

Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable

Loved staying at this cabin. So peaceful and quiet and the owner was wonderful at communicating and resolving a minor issue I had. Very close to town and just a few minutes from great hiking trails, mancos state park and mesa verde national park. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed 2 nights. This little cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was extremely quiet & well stocked. The owners were extremely helpful with renting. They communicated very well from start to finish. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet country side rental. Very private. The bed was extremely comfortable also. Perfect for two people.

Loved the Privacy, Peaceful and Beautiful

Perfect little cabin in absolutely gorgeous setting. We liked staying in the smaller quiet town of Mancos centrally located between Cortez and Durango so you can hit Mesa Verde NP and also easily explore the surrounding area. If you want to visit and see sights in the “Four Corners” area or access Million Dollar Hwy then this cabin is great place to use as your Base Camp. Also Host is very responsive and helpful. Would Recommend 👍👍👍👍👍

It was perfect for me. I love the mountain and being able to get up to the Transfer area so easily. This cabin was a dream come true. Everything I needed was there and it was all done very well, i.e. kitchen, bedroom, bath. I loved the southern view from the porch to the mountain east of Mesa Verde, as well as the field with the rise and pinyon/junipers to the west. Sunsets with silhouetted trees. Beautiful. Tyler and Mackenzie were wonderful. I hope to be able to go back again.

This was a wonderful spot to be for four days, away from the hustle of Durango and close to the charm and quiet of Mancos. My partner and I met my parents who were travelling in a self-contained campervan -- we spent most of the time hanging out on the porch together but the cabin is large enough that all four of us shared a few meals and conversation time comfortably. The description of the property was accurate. I was concerned about the proximity of the adjacent home from reading the reviews but upon arrival, this wasn't a factor in our enjoyment of the property. We exchanged friendly waves with the tenants a few times and heard a few barks from their dogs when they were exercising them in a nearby fenced area. The cabin was immaculate and stocked with amenities (almost too many for such a small space -- for example, there are two small refrigerators and just about all the kitchen tools a chef would require, but more is better than less!). For a longer stay, I'd probably plan to put unused items in the lofted shelf space.We enjoyed Mesa Verde NP and two trips to Durango. The grocery store is convenient, and Mancos Brewery was a fun find on our last night.The hosts were communicative on arrival and provided all the necessary information to make check-in and -out easy. Our first afternoon, we received a call and an offer to deliver some fresh locally roasted coffee, but we had brought our own. This was a nice touch! We hope to return!

Fabulous location near Durango and Mesa Verde

This is away from the busy city of Durango, and close the Mesa Verde National Park. We saw a couple of herds of Elk on the highway near Mancos. There were deer grazing nearby when we woke up early one morning. We were very pleased. The owner did a great job of communicating before we ariived, and followed up after we departed.

Cute, cozy and comfortable

This little cabin is just the perfect size for 1 or 2 people. Spacious front room and bedroom. The bathroom is nicely sized, however the shower is rather small. I'm only telling you that just so you know. I was able to make it work for me however if my husband would have been along I don't believe it would have worked for him. Cute and efficient small kitchenette. I was able to cook my meals while I was there which saved me financially. I most definitely would stay here again. I felt very safe and the views are phenomenal.
