Welcome to the Lake House at Manitou Beach! Escape to this eclectic & beautiful lakeside retreat located at Manitou Beach.

Whether you are looking to spend your days out on the water, relaxing by the shore, or enjoying peaceful evenings with family and friends, this is your perfect Michigan getaway. We have designed our lake house to be a comfortable, stress-free haven for our guests, complete with all the essentials you need for an unforgettable stay.

Lake House Guidelines

We want you to have an incredible time! To help us keep our lake house beautiful and maintain great relationships with our wonderful neighbors, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:

Essentials

Check-in: Anytime after 2:00 PM
Check-out: By 10:00 AM

Occupancy: Only guests mentioned in Total Guest Count will be allowed to enjoy the stay. Any additional guests must be communicated to Property Manager.

Maximum Occupancy: 10 People
No Parties or Events: Large gatherings, parties, and events are strictly prohibited.
No Smoking or Vaping: This is a 100% smoke-free property (including the outdoor areas/decks).

Shared Spaces & Privacy: The garage, maintenance room, and dock are shared with the Property Managers, who may stop by to use these three spaces from time to time. Rest assured, we will never enter the Lake House itself without your permission during your stay.

Community & Neighborhood

Parking: Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles in front of the garage door and side yard. Please adhere to signs indicating “No Parking” areas.

Community Park Restriction: Guests are not allowed to access the community park, known as the IPRC. This is a private park strictly reserved for permanent property owners only. Thank you for respecting our neighborhood rules!

No Fireworks: Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property, by the lake shore, and anywhere within the surrounding community.

Lake Life & Courtesy

Lake Access & Dock: For your convenience, access Round Lake via the dock that extends 160 feet into the lake. Stairs are located near the end of the dock. As always, caution should be used when accessing the lake. Guests assume full responsibility (use at your own risk) when using the lake access dock and stairs provided.

Outdoor Recreational Equipment: Outdoor recreational equipment (such as bicycles, floats, balls, kayaks, etc) are located in the garage and may be used by guests. Please return all equipment used before leaving. Guests assume full responsibility (use at your own risk) when using the recreational equipment provided.

Boating Policy: Guests are strictly prohibited from using any motorized boats owned by the property owner. You are welcome to bring your own boat or rent locally!

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Sound travels easily over the water! Please respect our neighbors by keeping outdoor noise to a minimum during these hours.

Day Noise: Keep noise at a respectful level throughout the day. Please stay peaceful to avoid disrupting the awesome community vibes!

Shoes Off: Please remove sandy or muddy shoes at the door to help keep our lake house clean.

Pets: No pets allowed. We maintain a strictly pet-free environment to accommodate guests with allergies. Thank you for understanding!

Campfire Policy: Small campfires are allowed only within the designated campfire area (bring your own firewood). The fire must be contained entirely within the provided steel container and must never exceed it. Please ensure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving it unattended.

Media Production

Professional Filming: Filming or producing professional media production projects is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from the Property Managers. Casual social media content filmed on smartphones for personal use is completely fine!

Adult Content: Filming or producing adult content is strictly prohibited on our property. If a request for adult content production is made, it will be denied.

Liability & Safety Disclaimer

Guest Risk & Liability: All use of the property, amenities, outdoor recreational equipment, lake access dock and stairs, and participation in any activities (including, but not limited to, lake access, campfires, swimming, and outdoor recreation) is strictly at the guests own risk. The property owner assumes no liability for guest actions, injuries, accidents, or illnesses that occur during the stay. By booking this property, guests acknowledge and agree to this policy.

End Of Stay Checklist

We want your departure day to be stress-free. Before you head out by 10:00 AM, please:

Lock all doors and windows.
Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
Place dirty towels/sheets in the hamper.
Take all trash to the outdoor bin located near the garage.
