It was a very chilly weekend, so really just chilled inside, our son and daughter in law braved the chilly weather and tried to fish off boat house, but no luck. We truly enjoyed the view. Definitely plan on going back late spring early summer. Would love to take grandchildren there.”

“The property is very unique in its style and layout. The interior of the house was very clean and orderly. The outdoor furnishings could use a little TLC. Several chairs were unusable due to deterioration of the webbing. Also, there was a hammock hanging that was also in unusable condition. Overall, however, we still did enjoy the place and our stay and would most probably rent again.”

“A rustic country getaway. This was such a pleasure to be - quiet, sitting on the porch watching the birds and looking the beautiful scenery with the lake out front. The fishing right front yard. The greatest hospitality from our host. We could not have had a better week with quiet tranquility, fishing , and a wonder host in God’s country.”

“Your rental was perfect for our 4 person group. We love the location, the balconies and warf area were perfect for our cookouts and gathering. Our only complaint, which im sure is out of your control, is that the trash dump is not open in the most convenient hours so we ended up taking trash with us. Other than that we definitely plan to re-visit on our annual outing next may. The VRBO site would not allow me to book that far in advance so i'm hoping i can get this same, great place.”

“Stunning, spacious property in a great location. We were in town for a reunion and the house was perfect. Very nicely updated and way more room than expected. Close enough to downtown to walk or make the short drive. Host was clear with communication and check-in and check0out were a breeze. Highly highly recommend this property for any stay in Natchitoches, especially if you have a decent size group.”

“The home was super comfortable for our entire family of 8 and everyone enjoyed fishing from the boats we brought with us and off the dock. The men are bass fishermen so they enjoyed a lot of time out on the boat. They caught many 2-3 pound large mouth bass and a few 6-8 pounders so they were very happy. The women spent some time in the boats but mostly on the dock and floating in the water. It was a great time for all.”
