“We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood.”

The setting was in the middle of the rainforest with decks on every side of the house. Each time we went out we saw and heard birds and one time even had monkeys entertain us. “You literally feel like you’re staying in the forest - the property is beautiful and expansive, the rooms are spread out a bit and there’s quite a few stairs involved. I had my old parents (75 yrs+) who could walk up and down the stairs - we kept that to once a day though so they didn’t have to make multiple trips up and down.
