The place is located in a remote area, far away from any grocery store or medical help. We arrived very late and it was dark so it was hard to find the way to the property. However when we open the door, it was a very nice layout, very clean and with good decoration. Unfortunately the host never follow up or responded to my messages. Overall I recomend this place. The view is very nice and it’s close to the river which you can see through the windows

Must Stay Rental!
We absolutely loved our stay! The rental was beautiful! The river views from the main living area through the picture windows are amazing, but the outdoor space is really the show stopper! The outdoor heater made the deck the perfect spot for a cup of coffee on a cool fall morning and the river is so relaxing to watch and listen to. Loved having lots of clean, comfy space to come back to after a day of exploring. Perfect retreat for our group. Will be highly recommending to any friends/family headed to the Seattle area in the future!

Perfect and Peaceful
We loved this place! We especially loved that it was tucked away so you had the illusion of being in a secluded location with groceries, shopping, and dining within minutes! Our host had all that we needed and more. We would definitely come back here again if we ever needed a place to stay near Seattle. Our only “complaint” if you could call it that is that our bed was too soft for us, but that is personal preference. The other couple that stayed with us had no problem with their bed.

Outstanding
The pictures do not do this property justice. We came for a wedding and didn't want to leave this property. My 91 year old mother, who can't see well, was very impressed. Her comment: maybe a shelf in the master shower as was difficult for her to bend down to get her shampoos. Also the steps to the main living area, for her, were a tripping hazard as was difficult for her to see as they blended in to the floor. Other than that, she (a realtor) was surprised at the decor and was very impressed that it was not "old/used furniture" "Beautifully done". For me and all of my family, the river was peaceful, the home was very comfortable. This property fit our needs perfectly and was very clean/warm/welcoming and the perfect de-stressor we were looking to achieve. My only regret is we didn't stay longer, however would love to book again. It is a beautiful home with beautiful surroundings.

Perfect for a family getaway!!
We came to Seattle for a wedding and found this perfect cabin. We had a great time, did some sightseeing....but enjoyed the cabin and scenery the most! You won't be disappointed!

Our Home Away From Home
What a Beautiful Cabin! Our family was so happy here! It seems they thought of everything from family games to building blocks for kids (our two four year olds love building) to childproof locks on the doors; we could not have been more pleased. After busy days in Seattle, coming home to our peaceful cabin and outdoor water views was priceless to us. Our host Ashley was REALLY a super-host! We discovered we locked ourselves out at 10:30pm after my sons wedding. Ashley responded immediately and then called to be sure we were able to get in. Ashley also gave us a later check out time as we were taking a late flight back to Maine; a gift especially with our two four year olds. Thank you Ashley! We will miss being there and will be back!

Amazing
Had the best time! So many fun things to do such as ping pong, bean bag toss, darts, games, fire pit, and an amazing view of the river right in your back yard. The house is beautiful. Our host Ashley was also amazing. She responded very quickly and allowed a late check out to accommodate our late flight home. Will definitely book again. Check in process was simple. Definitely coming back
This house was amazing! Nicely furnished, stocked, clean and enjoyed sitting out in the morning and listening to the river. Ashley was great with communication and made sure we were settled. My wife did not want to leave. Will definitely be coming back when visiting our daughter in Bellevue.

Cedar creek rental
We really enjoyed the property. It is right on the river and it would probably be beautiful to sit outside but we had very rainy weather. The house was clean and well stocked. Very comfortable beds. Good communication with host. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cozy place on the river
Beautiful property just steps from the Cedar River. The house is surrounded by, you guessed it, stately western red cedars, which really stood out against the blanket of freshly fallen snow. A cozy gas fireplace/stove, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of games made for a memorable stay. The Christmas tree and other seasonal decorations were a nice touch. And the property manager is a good communicator. Would love to stay here again on a return trip.

Clean and Beautiful
This cabin was gorgeous and clean! Check-in and communication with Ashley was great. Very relaxing ambiance and soothing river in your backyard. The fireplace in the den made for a cozy warm evening! Location was just right, away from the city but close enough to enjoy surrounding attractions. Loved the welcome gifts! Highly recommend!! :)

Secluded Gem on a Babbling River
A+ property -- beautiful location in the trees on a river with lots-o-deer (think Twilight), beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, good water pressure, nice outdoor space (when it's not raining), entertainment (tv, games, books, PING PONG). Great communication with host when we needed extra set of sheets and when wind temporarily knocked the power out. Will definitely look this home up when next I need overnight accommodations near Seattle. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house.
Beautiful house. Beautiful location on the river. The "shack" next door was a bit scary. We stayed here because my sister lives 2 miles away. We couldn't get the tv to "play" anything. We couldn't get the gas fireplace to turn on (no pilot light, coupler bad?). It would be helpful if there was a book/binder at the property telling you how to use things, etc.

Beautiful home and backyard
The backyard that borders the river is beautiful. The home’s layout was spacious with a sitting area and family room centered around the kitchen. It would be perfect for families. Ashley was great with communication before we checked in. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness —there was food in the oven, the floors were dusty and the glass door had fingerprints. Easily fixable. One suggestion would be for somewhere to place your bath items in the primary shower.

Had an amazing time at this super well-equipped VRBO. The yard can't be beat, but the inside felt like we were in a magazine. Everything was comfortable and the kitchen was wonderfully well-stocked. I would definitely recommend it.

Peaceful and relaxing river retreat!
Beautiful property nestled along the river in Maple Valley, WA! If you are looking to just relax and enjoy the dense trees, sound of the river, and nearby trails, this place is for you. The backyard was our favorite place to hang out - the back patio spanned the entire length of the house, and there were numerous seating areas, all with views of the river. It was quiet, shady, and only 30 minutes from the airport, but felt like we were worlds away! We were rarely inside other than to prep meals and sleep, but there are ample seating areas, 2 full bathrooms, and three bedrooms. Getting to the property the first time can be a bit tricky, but after the first time, it's much easier. On the drive in from the airport, there is a spot where you can see Mount Rainier (can even pull over and get a great photo!).

Reunion with Alaska kids
What a gem of a spot to spend a week! Beautiful home with everything you need in the kitchen and for outdoor entertainment. Quiet, secluded lush setting. The river is mesmerizing. 30 minutes from SeaTac - a bit longer into Seattle but we enjoyed getting to know the area around Maple Valley. Would definitely recommend if vacationing the the PNW!

Wonderful Washington State Stay
Loved our stay in Maple Valley.. it was a wonderful "home base" for our day trips to Seattle, Tacoma / Gigs Harbor, Olympic National Park, Mount Ranier, and Snowqualamie Falls.. Feels very rural, but 3-5 miles from main roads to any of those destinations, as well as groceries for any cooking or meals. LOVED listening to the river every morning and evening.. If we come back to this area, would definitely consider returning to this vacation home.. Thank you Ashley!

Deluxe cabin on the river
Our group of four friends on a golf trip was greatly enhanced by staying on this property. It is secluded on the rushing Cedar River. The location is mystically hidden in a lush forest. The view from the large windows facing the river is mesmerizing. The interior is open and inviting. The kitchen is open and quite functional. The living room is open and inviting. The bedrooms and baths are current and nicely appointed. We all loved our stay at this beautiful and very private home

Peaceful and Secluded
We were looking for a place where we could spend some family time before during and after our son's wedding. We had looked at several places but nothing seemed to be exactly what we needed. We loved to photos and thought if the home is anything like the pictures this will be perfect. This home was perfect and it was closer to the wedding venue than we knew so that was an added bonus. The outdoor space is terrific and the river is a great sound to go to sleep to. Ashley was very attentive and checked in a couple of time prior to and during our stay to make sure we were good. I recommend this place, but not too much because I want it to be available the next time we come. :)

Couples getaway
The cabin feels remote, but is close to easy drive to anything we wanted. We Went to the grocery store together and bought for the week. Stayed at the cabin playing games relaxing and just enjoying the quiet. One couple took a daily drive to hiking trails. We did BBQ, and used the wonderful fire pit for a relaxing evening and some-mores. Great place for a quiet get away without goin far.

This property was very nice....peaceful setting on the Cedar River and quiet tucked away from all traffic and hustle bustle of the surrounding area. We very much enjoyed our stay here, brief as it was due to commitments and a busy weekend. Only suggestion for improvement would be better pillows (down) and a few lamps to avoid the overhead light requirement throughout the house

I rented this property for my wedding weekend! I had my bridesmaids stay the night and get ready for the wedding here, and then my husband stayed the night after our wedding. It was the PERFECT place to relax amidst the crazy of a wedding weekend. Everyone that stopped by the house marveled at how beautiful and peaceful it was. We will definitely be returning!

The best place ever!
It was just amazing! The rushing Cedar River was like meditation - just hearing it clears your mind. We slept with the doors open to hear the river at night and felt very safe. The home was cozy and perfect for the our family. Ashley was so generous with everything - nice welcome treats for us in the fridge, great coffee, a helpful pantry available for use. Ashley was a great communicator and such a thoughtful host. Everyone loved the location and the home from our 28 year old daughters to my 86 year old dad. We had a group of our daughter's friends come for dinner and they enjoyed it too. We will be back.

Great house for a college friend get-a-way
The house was beautiful and had so many little surprises for us when we arrived. The one down part to our trip is that there was a problem with the well and we didn't have water the last couple of days we were there. However, the owners went above and beyond to make sure we were very well taken care of, so we decided to continue our trip and are so glad we did. I'm sure it was a stressful and hard time for the owners, but they were amazing. Not all owners would have handled it as well as they did. We would definitely stay here again.

A quiet place in pnw
A great house by the river. Clean and functional. You have to drive 15 minutes to any shops. The location is supreme. You’ll see deer knocking on your door and rabbits running around. Tons of mountain biking trails !!! Don’t miss Duthie Hills. The host is very responsive and will cater to all your needs. Just Awesome!

House by the river
Had a lovely four nights in this lovely house by the Cedar River. The house was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful river view and nice amenities. We always appreciate a house with a "no shoes" policy. Ashley was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. Enjoyed an evening by the fire pit and playing darts in the garage! Maple Valley is a nice area, close to Seattle with beautiful walking trails. We enjoyed the Imbibe Bottle House for a quick local beer and had a great brunch at Crockett's Public House. Overall, a very enjoyable break in a beautiful setting.

Perfect location for a family reunion in paradise
We had a group of 8, youngest was 5, oldest 91. This house worked perfect for the young ones, and pretty great for the oldest with mobility challenges. The setting was gorgeous, the house was spotless and Ashley, the owner, was super responsive, very clear and even left us a very thoughtful gift. After a year in quarantine, not seeing each other, it was the perfect spot to get together and relax. There’s plenty of room to spread out, inside and out. We made use of the dart board, ping pong and corn hole, we had a fire on the edge of the rushing Cedar River and otherwise stared out the giant picture windows in the living room area at the beautiful scenery of the PNW. We ran out of wood on the second day and Ashley showed up 30 mins later with more. Thank you Ashley for offering this place for rent, and thanks for being responsive and accommodating for our (many) needs. We all hope to return in the future.

The property is so beautiful. The sound of the river in the back yard was peaceful and relaxing. The cabin has activites for everyone and enough space to enjoy. We will definitely look to the abode for all our future trips to the area.
