“The pictures looks nicer than it is, the interior of the rooms are very outdated and the old rug that also are in the bathroom need to go. Lobby is ok, the stairs and corridor is very old-fashioned like the room. Luckily the bed is clean and nice. Birds outside made a lot of noise very early in the morning. Breakfast was good and the restaurant looks nice.”

“Bodde bara en natt och utnyttjade inte alla faciliteter. Men rummet var rent och snyggt. Enda negativa var duschblandaren som var onödigt komplicerad och väldigt trög att justera. Frukosten var riktigt bra!”

“When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed ”

“Beautiful period pub in a very nice setting. Clean, well cared for with a lot of period/nice touches to decor. Lovely large room with a shower and a separate bath. Very good made to order breakfast. Staff - pleasant, helpful and engaged. The only negative was no food after 8pm - which is when we arrived - and no other options in the locale. So arrive early if you want to eat there.”

“This is a very old pub so to be expected that floors are somewhat uneven, took a bit of time to get used to this. Room was at front of building,had a large, comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Sadly our stay was spoilt by other guests on Saturday night making lots of noise till the early hours. Breakfast was excellent with good choices, particularly catering for gluten free diet. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. ”
