âWarm welcome. Amazing setting with a river at their door step. Falling asleep to the sound of that river was magical. Fantastic conversations with both Peter and Steve. Great guys with amazing stories and great travel tips for my future camping spots in the Kimberley region. Yummy eggs on toast for breakfast and even better, a pea & ham soup that Peter gifted me for my journey. Peter that soup was a party in my mouth, so so delicious. I can't thank you enough. I will definitely be back. â
âBig room and bathroom, albeit with a somewhat dated decore and some wear and tear. The room was clean, but had some issues with insects getting in. The staff were kind and accommodating and the setting pleasant. â

I would -*highly* recommend a couple of nights here on your East Coast travels and certainly better than staying in Mission Beach which is full of construction. âSuperb location, beautiful designed and well thought-out accommodation, amazing attention to detail. very peaceful place, away from any noise but close enough to walk along the beach to the Mission Beach restaurants. Delicious breakfast.â
âThis place is a gem! Perhaps our favorite of 6 places along the Queensland coast. Super-quiet, very modern, like a cabin in the woods, on the beach! Steps from a gorgeous long stretch of beach (no one on it in late July), nice plunge pool, good amenities, although not a full kitchen. (Who knew you could microwave salmon?) There is a cart for luggage, 2 minutesâ walk to the property. So private yet 5 minutes from restaurants. We will be thinking of it months from now. â
âThe staff were friendly and really made the trip. Everywhere was clean and the gardens beautiful. My only issue was the food, looked pretty but I didn't think it compared to the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good but not such a fan of the dinner menu.â
âThis old staple of Mission Beach has recently changed hands. The new owners Tom and Kevin are super nice, genuine and helpful. My room and bed was comfortable and well appointed and looked on to the beautiful tropical courtyard. Recommended.â
