“Awesome CLEAN Vrbo. The location is exactly what I needed which was quite peaceful and secluded. We needed to get away and find tranquility. We spent most of our time lounging on the enclosed patio enjoying the fire table. The property has river access. Enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning. Lots to do nearby. Check out the Linville Caverns and Linville falls nearby. Awesome hiking. Host is extremely helpful and communicates promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will be back!”

Just a heads up to read the amenities list carefully - the host provides one roll of TP per bathroom (2) so if you’re staying with other people for more than a few days, you’ll need to pick that up. “Nice house, but the washer didn't work, and the stove burners /oven were "off" on their settings, so cooking was "complicated" and delayed. Both appliances need to be replaced. Had it not been for a more technologically gifted member of our family than I, we would have had difficulties with the TVs. A "brochure" of instructions would have been helpful, as well as a "stash" of replacement batteries. It was a lovely setting, but the area also needs landscaping attention and clean...

“Absolutely loved the property! Jennifer was an amazing host! Home was well appointed and clean and beds super cozy. It was quite a steep walk to the lake....but worth it. And check out the 4th bedroom....it is only good for small kiddos as it is quite tight. Thanks for a fantastic vacation in your lovely home!”

“Our family members traveled from around the eastern US to celebrate Thanksgiving together. Our youngest was 9 months and our oldest was 90 years. The house was perfect for all of us!! We loved the decks, the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, the grill, the view, the location and the accommodations. Karen, the manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive. Great stay for all of us!💕”

“Such a nice place, even better than the pics. Love the cabin theme decor, beautifully decorated. Lots of room inside and out for a family to spread out. Thanks for keeping the kitchen well-stocked and leaving condiments/spices and kitchen supplies; we enjoyed cooking and preparing multiple meals. We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the mountain views and fire pit. We weren't expecting such nice weather; I wish we had brought cornhole/outdoor games....
