“This was a lovely property in a good location for our stay. Beautifully decorated with all the facilities expected. Noisey road at the front of the house due to it being a cut through. The house bedrooms have been divided up into seperate appartments and so some swithches needed are not in your appartment. A concern about security, front door and room door locks great but the period patio doors inside the rooms were poorly secured with flimsy locks. ”

“This is a nice ‘Bach’ type apartment with a lovely view over the nearby hills. Inside it was clean and had good amenities. It is part of a building used for art and craft , the ‘frost and fire’ gallery. Unfortunately while we were there the kiln shed next door was in use, which meant the occasional whiff of smoke from the kilns when the wind changed direction, and sound and voices coming from it throughout the first night as it was being used. “Ideal for a 2 night stay to explore the Able Tasman National Park.”

“The apartment has a magnificent view over the harbour and surrounding water. The location is very central and their is a wonderful restaurant (the Boat Shed) within 200 metres. Everything in the apartment works, all of the appliances are relatively new and the bed is comfortable. We anjoyed eating out on the balcony most nights. (we stayed for a week). On the negative side, the apartment is dated, lots of wood panelling and a purple bathtub.”
